Bio and Links
Bio Photo Please feel free to ask for transfers of relatives and loved ones. I'm also happy to add/correct information. It helps if you make requests via the "edit" tab on the memorial, as this sends me a link to the correct memorial, saving confusion. Please note the FAQ rules concerning adding obituaries.

If I've created a memorial for your loved one, and you prefer there be no memorial on Find-a-Grave, please accept my apologies. I'll be glad to delete it or transfer it to you, whichever you prefer.

Memorials are meant to honor the life of the deceased, not to sensationalize or besmirch or to construct family trees. There are other websites designed for those purposes.

Photos:
You're likely to see my photos on other websites, as I own and/or collaborate with several sites. It's safe to assume I'm aware the photo is there. If you're concerned that I'm unaware, feel free to contact me. Contacting anyone else is inappropriate and unnecessary. Thanx.

Death certificates:
Thank you for refraining from posting death certificates to memorials that I manage.

RE: Cunningham's
I messed up and lost the picture for Baby Lish. Do you still have the picture and if you do would you email it to me? I think that I could really be dangerous if I really used all of my brain. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Harris Family Cemetery
Andrew Jackson Harris was not buried with his wife and children. He died the summer of 1874.She married her fourth and final husband on Dec 31,1874. He was one of A J's closest friends. She and 3 of the children by A J and 1 daughter-in -law are buried elsewhere.
I did not intend to ruffle your feathers. It is important for the history and legacy of this family to be documented.
Four of A J and Martha's children left this area between 1890 and 1910 and never came back here to live.
If their descendants are searching for their family's history they should be able to find it here where it began in NC.
Respectfully,Charlotte

RE: J. R. A. Tomkins # 99707837
Somehow I thought I sent a follow up that said I goofed.. to ignore the JRA Tomkins note .

I had worked on family too long I think.. but was so please to see you have created memorials for them.

John Randolph Augustis Tompkins born 1912 and died 1990 was son of Georgia Wood and Charles R Tomkins. The J R A Tomkins stone is for Charles Richard Tomkins grandfather.. His name was John Randolph Augustus Tomkins too.. He was married to Mary Henderson Madden and the father of Annie Eliza Tomkins Harrison, Joseph Madden Tomkins, Thomas A Tomkins, Dr. William R Tomkins and James Samuel Tomkins.

Thanks again..

Betty
