IF YOU SEND ME A CORRECTION FOR ONE OF MY MEMORIALS, AND I HAVE A QUESTION ABOUT YOUR CORRECTION AND I HAVE NO WAY TO CONTACT YOU, YOUR CORRECTIONS MAY NOT BE MADE. SORRY.
I have been working on genealogy since about 1958, when I was working on a boy scout merit badge, and got hooked. My wife and I started recording cemetery data in 1975 in Franklin County, MO, and I have photographed a lot of the headstones. My data on Franklin County is limited to cemetery research. I am a member of the research team at Historic Florissant, Inc., doing genealogy-cemetery research in Florissant, namely St. Ferdinand Cemetery, of which I am currently photographing and doing research. I would be glad to share any data that I have with you or help you with your research in the Florissant MO area. If anyone should find errors on any of my info, please let me know, so it can be corrected. If I have a memorial of someone related to you, I would be glad to transfer them to you.
A note concerning FLOWERS: Do not post biographical info, military service records, census data etc. as a flower. This is a violation of the Find-A-Grave guidelines. Use the EDIT tab to provide the info, and I will update the memorial or transfer it to you.
THANKS: With the new edit tab, I don't always write a thank you note nor do I expect one. We all have plenty to do to keep up. BUT, be assured that I do APPRECIATE any addition/correction, or PHOTO REQUEST you fulfill for me. Please accept this as my thanks for your efforts.
Re: Sefton Causey Thanks for a great picture. Sefton is my distant relative and he was married twice to Violet and Sally. It appears his stone has another name on it, but I can't tell. Can you tell me who is interred next to him? I can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org. Thanks.
George and Lewis Fischer Oh Andrew: I am so happy that you came through again for me with the headstone photo. You did a great job. I did mean to thank you sooner---but broke my toe and have been a bit in pain, and I forgot. You are a good friend-thank you so very much.
Annette Reindl Andrew, Thank you for the email. You've gone above and beyond the search for this tombstone. I really appreciate everything you did to find this. will be curious to see what the cemetery office finds out. thanks again for all your help.
