The Atkinson Connection
Good Morning Weezy,

Well, my 2nd great grandfather (on my father's, mother's lineage), a Benjamin Betts Purdy (1828-1903) was married to a Mary Jane Atkinson (1822-1874). This was his first wife that he had 5 children with... After she died, he married twice more... She came from Dumfries and Galloway, Scotland & settled down in Cumberland County, Nova Scotia, Canada with her parents: John & Elizabeth Atkinson. Nothing more is known about them... Her Find A Grave Memorial# 121720285...

Good Morning Wheezy,

If you had noticed a few edits/links recently, that would be me...

I only send out edits/links to help tweek/refine information on those family member's that I have researched in my family tree... You have done a great job creating those memorials for them & thank you... I hope to have any relative's that I do find linked in this manner... It would appear that I have many relative's buried in this Sixth Line Cemetery... Must be one massive graveyard to walk/navigate...

Anyhow, Have a Great Day & Cheers,

Dave Buchanan

Wiltons at Newmarket Cemetery
Thanks so much for the excellent photo of the Wilton headstone at Newmarket Cemetery! I really appreciate it!

Couple of questions ...

Did you happen to notice if there was a stone for George and Violet's two sons, Verne and Edward?

And would it be OK if I attached your photo (with appropriate credit) to my tree on Ancestry?

I think we may have some ancestors in common ... I've noticed your name on a few of the memorials that are connected to our tree.
