Lottie Lou Brister Burnett
I deleted my cousins memorial that I created but I must say that I think it should not matter if there are more than one memorial per person as the person who first created the memorial for Lottie Lou Brister Burnett claimed to be her step-sibling yet no family member as ever heard of her and if she was a step-sibling than she was not a blood relative yet I am a blood relative in that lottie's mother and my mother are sisters. Also I noticed that the first person who created the other memorial used the info from my memorial when she updated it. When I first searched for a memorial on find-a-grave for some reason I did not find a memorial for my cousin Lottie Lou. Now that my memorial has been deleted other family members will more than likely not be able to find her memorial

RE: Headstone photos
Robbie, I've already got photos of all those buried in Greenlawn that I know are my hubby's Woods family, thanks for the offer but I don't need it right now.

Joseph C "Joe" Turner
Congrats on finding his father! Finding soldiers that died in the Civil War can be so difficult. So glad you found him.

We made the link. If you would like Joseph Turner or any others we may have transferred to you just let us know. I think we forgot to mention this last time we messaged you... sorry about that.

Have a great weekend!

Joseph C "Joe" Turner - Requested link to father
I wanted to let you know why all your requests to link Joseph C Turner to Reuben M Turner have been denied. We do not link to Unknown Burial memorials, but we gladly will when you find the actual grave site.

Just passing on some info from the Find A Grave guidelines that pertain to our reasons:

Find a Grave's mission is to find, record and present final disposition information from around the world as a virtual cemetery experience.

Memorial contributions to Find A Grave should fulfill that mission - registration of the final disposition.

Find A Grave is a resource for anyone in finding the final disposition of family, friends, and ‘famous' individuals.

Location of body unknown should only be used for recent deaths where the disposition is not yet known. Final disposition should be determined and updated within 30 days. Using "Non-Cemetery Burial" for those that died during a battle/war is the same as a Burial Unknown unless you have information on the final actual disposition of the body and include that information on the memorial.

Not trying to really be a stickler or cause ill will but per Find A Grave guidelines you really should not have made a memorial for Reuben M Turner until you know where he is buried or what the actual disposition of the body was. Find A Grave isn't a genealogy site for linking all known members of a family together. It's a place where people can come to FIND a GRAVE. So creating memorials that don't accomplish that goal really kind of defeats the purpose of the site.

We have added the information for his father to his memorial. Thank you.
