Bio and Links
I've always been fascinated with history and with genealogy. I'm currently trying to update the records of graves in Hillside Cemetery near my home in Saguache, Colorado. This includes adding historical and biographical information that I may locate. The town is one of many small, dying towns in the country, but it has a fascinating early history.

I will gladly transfer memorials to immediate family members, following the guidelines of Find-a-Grave.com. Just click on "Edit" on the memorial page, then click where it says to suggest a correction to the memorial.

Hi! Thank you so much! No, not a relative, just a fellow Sarah Jane. :)

RE: Ernest Patrick Connor
Hi Bill:

Great research on your part. I had picked up the birth date from the U.S., World War I Draft Registration Cards, 1917-1918. I do feel the obituary and 1900 Census would be the correct date of birth. Pat Connor is a very, very distant relative. I only picked him up because I was trying to link the wife of a relative to her mother to findagrave and I had some work to do to find her husband to do that. However, there is always that satisfaction on linking families. Thanks for adding the obituary - it looks great.

Thanks for you help!

Mary

RE: John Fultz information
I think I have found a link for Mabel. I have found info that she married Fred Conn and is buried in California. Before I put through an edit for that memorial I want to make sure that it is "my" Mabel Fultz that married Fred Conn. Sometimes info you find on line isn't correct. So hopefully soon I will have an edit that will link her to your memorial.

Bill, I have a tree on Ancestry.com too. It's Welch/Cook/Ketchum/Scalise Family Branches. The article on George Bainter (1776-1849) that I mentioned is posted on his page.

James S. Bainter findagrave memorial# 133581916
Bill, I found his birthdate in an article on Ancestry.com for "George Bainter, Pioneer of Zanesville, Muskingum, Ohio".
George 1776-1849 was the father of James and it had a list of all his children and their birthdates. At the end of the article was a list of sources for the information.
I also revised the bio on James to read that the last record found for him was the 1850 census (with Hulda) in Macon, Macon, Illinois. I had missed that census previously, because Bainter was misspelled as Barretta, but it was a transcription error. I still don't know his exact death date or location, other than after 1850, probably in Macon, Illinois.
Hope this helps
Shelly

Haha! I guess you just happened to submit the edits at exactly the right time. Or maybe I hit process at exactly the right time. Whatever the case, happy to be of assistance and get these memorials updated. Thanks for all of your hard work as well!

RE: Plot edits for Don and Emma F Mote
Yes, Gethsemane is one of some 40 odd Divisions at Springdale. It's Gethsemane in Cemetery records, the sign at the head of the Division says "Garden of Gethsemane"
Thanks
