|I'm an amateur genealogist, I started researching in 2003. I mainly research in Bennington County, Vermont. I enjoy walking through old cemeteries. I live in Michigan, but travel to Vermont a few times a year and try to get in as much research as I can. I am researching many of the families that I have submitted.|
If you want a memorial transferred to you please use FAG guidelines and the edit link on the far top right of the memorial, that is the only way I will do transfers, direct emails and messages will not be done. If you have corrections please use the edit link on the far right of the memorial and give the source of your information or the correction will not be done. If you use my pictures on your family tree on Ancestry.oom or another service please state where you got the picture.

While getting the other obits, I saw this, which may be of interest. I just saw the Vermont reference and thought I'd pass it along. Nothing further on him that I can see. The article has a photo.

He was awardee the Bronze Star while serving with the 5th Infantry Division in Europe during World War II, and also served in Viet Nam during 1961-62. Both he and his wife are originally from Vermont.

|Allison Clausen||Betsey Bugbee Elwell|
Do you have any information or source references documenting Betsey's connection to the Bugbee family? I found information on Ancestry.com indicating that her maiden name was Morse and that she had a first husband Lewis King Upham. I found a photo of her gravestone supporting that she was married to a Herrington Elwell, but I did not see evidence that she was a daughter or a wife of any Bugbee. I am researching the Bugbee family and would be very interested if you have any insight into Betsey's identity. Thanks for your help. - Allison Clausen
Updates posted, thanks!
