|Bio and Links|
We are all here for a singular purpose; to record graves. My own personal goal was to document as many graves as I could in the county & city in which I live. I was not & still am not perfect, there are errors in my submissions. Please exercise patience when submitting edits. I am not on here every day. Recent ongoing health issues have drastically limited the amount of time I spend on this website and project. Sometimes I do more than I should and aggravate my condition. :/ It is a love hard to set aside sometimes. |
Please utilize the new editing system to make family links. Requests without the memorial number(s) will not get done because I am not going to hunt down links or other information others want added. If I have made a duplicate entry please list both in an email so I can determine if it is truly a duplicate and if so which one to delete.
Please do not assume I am the source of erroneous information and links. Many others contribute to this website and I do not have time to authenticate every correction I receive. Do not send me cut and paste census info. It should be extracted to form a small synopsis of their lives but should not be taken as the gospel truth. Please do not ask me to add graphic information to a biography, they do not serve any purpose and diminish the memory of a decedent.
When requesting a transfer please state your relationship. All transfers will be handled according to the four generation policy.
On a very serious note, no transfers to “The Meriwether Society” will be made for any reason. In fact, every request sent to me from that account will be reported to administrators.
Photos I uploaded to this website are copyright protected and are for your personal use only. Permission to upload them to them anywhere on the web is strictly prohibited. Likewise, similar shots of marker photos should not be uploaded to the same memorial unless they are dramatically better. Because there are only five free slots this prevents family photos from being added and is disrespectful to the volunteer who preceded you. In my ignorance and zeal I unintentionally did this and would gladly remove any brought to my attention.
