Bio and Links
Bio Photo Every individual should be remembered in some small way when they leave this earth. I think Findagrave provides that remembrance. I hope you will not feel exploited but embrace the memorial of your loved one or friend.

Bryan "Dock" Walker parents
Bryan "Dock" Walker (1919-2011) is a son of Oscar Lee Walker, born 1889 in Alabama and died 1961 in Escambia Co, FL and his wife Edna, born abt 1890 in Illinois.
Until yesterday, I thought Edna was Edna Opal Marshall of Franklin Co, IL, and had that info on my public Ancestry tree. But I was alerted yesterday by a Marshall family member from Franklin Co, IL who is related to my husband, that I was wrong. Edna Opal Marshall, born May 29, 1890 in Franklin Co, IL married Egbert Byron Walker (1886-1950) and their children were Amber Lucille Walker Stockham (1909-1999), Anita Walker Meyer (1911-1991), Verl Byron Walker (1913-1920)and Ileta Edna Walker born abt 1922, all in Franklin Co, IL. The family moved to Maricopa Co, AZ where they had one more child, Dale Marshall Walker abt 1926. If you check the Social Security record for Edna Walker born May 29, 1890 died Dec 1980 in Los Angeles Co, CA it says number issued in Arizona in 1964. I am trying to undo my mistake in her marriage and children.

RE: Odell Roberson
It's odd that the personal email message was returned to you because I did receive it. I just happened across Odell Roberson's obituary when I was searching for information on someone with the same name who died many years before, which I never found. You'd think the first name is unsual enough to make it easy--not the case this time! But, I AM glad I helped someone else.

RE: New Johnson/Jerry Smith
Martha,
You are welcome for the info. Thanks for making the corrections!
I am assuming I need to email Find a Grave to have the location of the New Johnson Cemetery corrected. The two communities are only 5 miles apart, but it would still be confusing to anyone not familiar with the area.
Thanks again!

RE: Union Grove Cemetery 2/Snead
You are welcome. I had found someone posted in another Union Grove cemetery #1 in Albertville that someone wanted a picture of the stone. This family was also posted on findagrave at your Union Grove. The owner of the memorial did not believe me until I posted the picture from your cemetery with all the other family. While I was there and had the time, I started taking pictures....these stones/markers will not last forever. I have found several cemeteries that have the same name....some in neighboring counties and some in the same county. Some people when posting memorials do not look at the location, they assume that if they lived in Marshall Co(on the edge of the county) it must be the one in Marshall. I even found some of Union Grove #1 posted in the Union Grove cemetery toward Arab. God Bless you and yours.
