|Elizabeth Davis||RE: Oliver Wilcox children|
Sorry, I don't have anything DAR would approve. (I don't have any record of a son John.) I've pieced some things together based on burial info and info in the A.A. Pomeroy book. (I'm connected to Oliver Wilcox Jr. by his marriage to my Pomeroy cousins.) The rest came from genweb biographies and online family lore.
I found you through a lady who had purchased old family photos (4hearts) and sold them on Ebay. I missed purchasing the photos, but I understand you were great at identifying them. Emma Cook Hedges was my great grandmother and Olive Hedges Payne was my grandmother. I don't know how extensive your photos are, but I would be interested in hearing if you have anything going into the Cook/Hedges/Payne line.

Thanks for checking the unidentified photos.
John Ratcliff married Ellen Cook and John Hedges married her sister Emma Cook.
I'm guessing these photos belonged to a descendant of John Estes Ratcliff - a lot of them have Estes written on the back.

I've listed a bunch of photos from an old album in my eBay store. One of them looks like the same photo you have of John P Ratcliff and his family. There were 8 unidentified photos in the album and I was hoping you might be able to help identify some of them. Here's a link to the photos from that album http://stores.ebay.com/4hearts-Photos-and-Treasures/_i.html?_nkw=g14-934&submit=Search&_sop=10&_sc=1&_sid=3347391
Thanks for any info you can offer!

Robyn, I found you on Find A Grave while looking for info on my great grandfather James Churchill born 1848 in Canada and married Emma Rosina Blake in 1868. My grandfather was Lester Churchill who was born in Nebraska and lived and died in Kansas.
Do you thing we might be related?????

My pleasure! I actually work on this year-round, so the fact that it's March doesn't make much difference to me. I haven't been doing as much the past few months, but I'm hoping to get more heavily involved with my photo requests again soon.
|Robbie Salyers||RE: Are you related to Albert Wayne Ratcliffe?|
Thank you, thank you, thank you, Cousin!!!!
My email is firstname.lastname@example.org. I sorta expected it to be a pamphlet. I found a library in Evansville, Indiana that's supposed to have it, but I doubt it very much. I'm kinda new with this researching, but I've spent a LOT of time at it and have accumulated quite a bit of information. I have about 225 pages of data and close to 200 attachments (census, death certificates, marriage and birth records, photographs, draft registrations, etc.) to support my research, but I think this is soooo interesting. I have close to 600 names. Are you in the book so that I can add you and your family to my list? Thanks again!! Robbie

I am descended from the Ratliffs/Radcliffes. My father's mother was a Ratliff and descended from Richard Ratcliff, and during my research I ran across "Rooting with the Ratclyffes". Do you have access to this book? I would love to read it. Thanks.
|Lisa Winship||RE: Daniel Churchill|
My son will be home this weekend and we also do some cemetary findagraves when he is home..Kinda our thing...anyway, I will take him out to the Churchill plot and see if he can move the stone enough to get a date or something. I'll let you know.
Glad to help.
