Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born Annabelle Mary Henderson w/o Jesse Rupert (Columbiana County) and only child born to John Cassell Henderson born Newport, Kentucky and Mary Beaton Jenkins born Glasgow, Scotland. Jesse Rupert is s/o J Vernon Rupert born Columbiana Co, Ohio and Mary Paden.

Only paternal roots in America, I follow a path to Fairfax Co Virginia (grandmother's name Pritchartt).

Some interesting facts discovered about my family:
Henderson, Nevada named after my group.
The Hendersons still operate the oldest family owned Drug Store in America to date called "Henderson's Drug Store" founded 1841 by Osborne Henderson in Glasgow, Howard Co Missouri. The oldest Henderson in my group, lived to be 104, Dr. Joseph Lewis Henderson as did his sister.

I have no biological connection to Ohio and
will transfer any memorial in Columbiana/Mahoning Co Ohio to persons with interest.
I check and work on this daily, update edits and will respond to email/corrections, etc promptly. Please note as I have posted many memorials from the cemetery index volumes, Audrey Allison has brought them to life by walking the cemeteries, photographing and posting headstones to thousands of the memorials. It is a joint effort by many.
Please do not ask for a transfer then "disappear from the face of earth"!

Lastly...
To all who so righteously remind us the primary purpose of Find a Grave is "GRAVE REGISTRATION", and then "boringly" recite in your bio the FAG rules... yes we get it! To the group I work with, (look at my friend's list) it is a mere "starting point" as we all work together, share, and seek to know more about the folks, what they looked like and where they lived as we "register their graves". All of us will go to great lengths to find out more!. .. to sum this up they are "NOT JUST A NAME ON THE A STONE"!

GREATEST ACCOMPLISHMENTS 2014 YEAR - Two new stones shine from the "Pritchartt" plot in Bellefontaine Cemetery in St Louis Mo for the first time...

May 20, 2014
Placed a military marker on an unmarked grave... After a long search for military records for a great uncle who was a Conf Soldier, and alas, finally secured them and accepted for a military headstone placed on his grave after 114 years beneath an unmarked grave!! He was Pvt John Norvell Caskie. Thanks to Angela Smythe who had an interest in the Caskie family and provided a copy of military record that made this all possible.

Aug 18, 2014 - Stone placed on great grandmother Maria L Bingham Pritchartt's grave who died in 1859 from anemia. Stone is now set in plot St Louis Mo. She has rested for 155 years in an unmarked grave, but that will be no more. I guess that is why I was chosen to do what I do. Amen

I encourage relatives to post old photos to memorials and I will sponsor ANYONE's memorial just to have additional photos uploaded. (It is well worth the $5.00 Find a Grave charge) Focus as of 11/9/2014 will be to review current memorials created, complete data as to birth, date, place, etc and to link/find parents, siblings or family. Just as in life, every memorial should be linked to family. And "friends" keep those edits coming my way as it helps so much identify all the folks at rest. 7/20/2015 currently working on editing and updating families and relationships in Fairfax City Cemetery in Fairfax Va, and the surrounding area.

My files are now available to me and I save everything posted.

Thank you for sending an edit on Donna Zeigler's Mother Eva A. Wilson Appel #155265217. Can you explain why she is not buried with her husband as the other site for Eva A. Wilson Appel site states #86637254. Thank you.

Thank you for all the work you and others are doing at the cemetery. I'm looking for a Charles Baker that has a wife with the same name as this one. Now I have a great lead to follow up. Thank you again. Carole Alden down from Nathan Baker 1760-1836 YDNA at site.

Harriett Taylor Davis memorial
Ann,
First let me congratulate you on your recent progress and successes in the form of the new stones for your ancestors!
I thank you so much for your time and dedication to finding your own family and helping others to find theirs.
That said, thank you so much for your additions/corrections to Harriett Taylor Davis's memorial. I am glad that others are beginning to agree that Harriett and Mary King Davis are daughters of Priscilla Davis (nee King most likely) and Richard Windsor Davis, not Priscilla King Calvert. Do you have the sources that I used to prove this? I can give you the chancery case numbers if you wish. I'll just have to look them up. I found a chancery cause about Richard Windsor Davis as well that states he left the state, I only wish it said where he went. If you want any of this let me know.
Thank you again,
Kathy Davis-Page

RE: Edwin Lee Sterne in Rock Hill
Hi Ann, thanks so much for sending the historic notes pertaining to Rock Hill. Very interesting, and full of names to help figure out what was going on here so long ago. I also got vital clues from Mary, the photographer of one of the gravestones. I'm now clear that what I thought was misnamed Rock Hill Methodist was in fact named correctly. It's not been a church for 50 years but the building and the tiny cemetery still exist, and I was able to add the exact location to the Find A Grave cemetery page. See the history presented here: http://www.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~vastaffo/cemeteries/rockhillmethcem.htm . That historical article has one mistake: the old Methodist church is south of the present day Rock Hill Baptist Church, not north. But it shows it was a multi-denominational church when it started in 1800, and that some members left to form Rock Hill Baptist and later other members merged with Ebenezer Methodist elsewhere in the county. Thanks again for sharing what you found!

Anne is A True Genealogist

Anne, I found your profile via your message to and from Peggy, below this message.

You have stated what the true purpose of Find A Grave should be amongst those of us volunteers who work very hard to provide meaningful and accurate content over and above what is on the "stones".

Those that contribute photos and create memorials for everybody in the cemeteries in their vicinity also deserve credit as they become valuable "stepping stones" for the work we do. However, when these contributors start refusing to cooperate by hiding behind the rules instead of using common sense, it becomes obvious that they are "hoarders" and not "genealogists".

Thank you very much for speaking out so eloquently in your profile.
