Bio and Links
Bio Photo We have learned that walking the cemeteries and taking photos are more accurate for adding data

I am happy to transfer if they are family. P,ease use edit tab for changes.

Four years ago we started using Find a Grave and just was out there looking for relatives. It is not a numbers game for me. It found us roaming around in cemeteries trying to locate my ancestors. We have been doing many memorials of people in many cemeteries. If you see someone that is your relative please ask for a transfer. We mostly have been in cemeteries in Webster Co, Hopkins Co Ky Recently we have been doing many Posey Co Indiana Cemeteries. I hope we can make a difference for people interested in locating their family. We long ago decided that inputting names from a book from libraries or other sources are subject to inaccuracy. You have to do the actual walking in the cemeteries to confirm dates and names and families. We take managing memorials seriously. If you want the memorials, you tacitly accept the responsibility of editing them.

My family lines are Foster , Egloff. Sanders
Lively ,Maag Huskey ,Cobb and Cates.

Thanks to my husband Milton Yuan for developing my family genealogy website I want to share the link with you www.webclad.com/genealogy It will link my family and ancestors and added pictures that have been collected and shared with anyone interested in the Foster/Egloff/Lively/Maag family

In the event that i am unable to continue to manage my memorials. I want my husband will manage my memorials.

Thanks so much for trudging out in this cold weather to snap a photo for us, and to fill in some information. Those of us too old and too far away truly appreciate your service.

RE: Beckman
Hi Linda,

Thanks again for your help.

I do want to respectfully request thought that you only upload higher resolution photos for me. I am really looking for larger photos so I can see the detail of the marker. I sent Milton some examples of the size I always upload.

Find A Grave guidelines are 8 MB or less, but the photos you uploaded are less than 300KB. So, they are really small compared to the size you are allowed to upload. Like I told him, I do not want to seem ungrateful, however, I really want larger photos on my family's memorials. Can you do it just for me, or just for my family's memorials?

Thank you! Deb

Hi Linda!

Thank you so much for the great photo of my great grand father! I am so very excited! It brings tears to my eyes. Happy tears. :)

My father (grandson of James) will be thrilled when I show it to him next week!

Do you by any chance have a larger version of it that you can upload?

Thank you!

Deb

Hello Linda!! :) Thank you for contacting me!

I saw the edit you sent me about submitting a photo request .... I already have a photo request for Mary Etta Hobbs... it is there.

I also noticed that today you created a memorial for my great grandfather James Riley Hail. I already have a memorial for him, I just didn't know what cemetery yet. In fact, I only recently discovered Mary Etta was buried at Greenwood, so I changed her from "unknown" to Greenwood once I knew for a fact she was there.

Since I didn't yet know if James was buried there, too, I had left his burial location as "unknown", but he was linked to him as his spouse.

I have now changed his burial location to Greenwood since it sounds like you know he is buried there, too.

How did you figure that out?

Anyway, I will submit a photo request for him on the memorial I created for him a while ago, and maybe you can delete the one you created for him today.

Thank you SO VERY MUCH for offering to find them and photograph them! I am so thrilled!!! Their grandson, my father, turns 90 years old in a few days, so it will thrill him to pieces to know that you found his grand mother and grandfather!

Thank you again! I am so excited to see their grave markers! I know it will bring tears to my eyes, and the eyes of my elderly father!

Also, I am going to "borrow" a line out of your profile and add it to mine if that is okay... the line is: "If you want the memorials, you tacitly accept the responsibility of editing them."

I love it! It amazes me how many people have memorials and do not respond to edit requests, and do not update bio's with the research that I do for each person. It is so frustrating. I just don't understand why they have the memorials if they have no intention to do anything more than enter it on Find A Grave. And, why would they want to hold the memorial hostage from loved ones!?!?! I just don't get it at all.

Thank you for being YOU!!

Deb :)

RE: Wendell ford
That is correct. The "who got theirs in first" rule does not apply to famous bios.

First let me say thank you for all the Photos you are entering.
The photo on the above memorial is for Charles Northener And his wife Louise. Not for Charles D. Northerner.
In this Cemetery alone there are several spellings of the Name. I have found atlest four different spellings. There are several dupilcates because of the differnet spellings.

just fyi - There's duplicate edit req's that have "no change" for Evelyn Ernspiger. I probably made changes & it cancelled them out. Guessing was for the b & d dates. I'll click "accept" but won't be any changes.
