We have learned that walking the cemeteries and taking photos are more accurate for adding data |
Please ask permission before posting my personal family photographs, photographs I have taken of grave stones or biographical material I have written from my memorial pages on this site to Ancestry.com or any other website or personal webpages.
Four years ago we started using Find a Grave and just was out there looking for relatives. It is not a numbers game for me. It found us roaming around in cemeteries trying to locate my ancestors. We have been doing many memorials of people in many cemeteries. If you see someone that is your relative please ask for a transfer. We mostly have been in cemeteries in Webster Co, Hopkins Co Ky Recently we have been doing many Posey Co Indiana Cemeteries. I hope we can make a difference for people interested in locating their family. We long ago decided that inputting names from a book from libraries or other sources are subject to inaccuracy. You have to do the actual walking in the cemeteries to confirm dates and names and families. We take managing memorials seriously. If you want the memorials, you tacitly accept the responsibility of editing them.
My family lines are Foster , Egloff. Sanders
Lively ,Maag Huskey ,Cobb and Cates.
Thanks to my husband Milton Yuan for developing my family genealogy website I want to share the link with you www.webclad.com/genealogy It will link my family and ancestors and added pictures that have been collected and shared with anyone interested in the Foster/Egloff/Lively/Maag family
In the event that i am unable to continue to manage my memorials. I want my husband will manage my memorials.

Please visit my sponsored memorials and leave a token for my family. My father James and June Foster Lively. My brother James Lively Jr.

Year of death is 1943, as shown on gravestone, not 1949.
Thank you so very much for all the wonderful photos. Your time and effort in fulfilling my requests at Mount Calvary Cemetery are very much appreciated.
|Jackie||# 113192444 Charles Dattillo|
This memorial is for an infant who died in 1927. The photo you attached is for a Charles Dattilo 1904 to 1989. Thank you.

Thank you so much. I appeared to have missed so many family members at Mount Calvary and live afar so I really appreciate your efforts. dan

I see you maintain the memorial for Orville L. Godwin buried in Ft. Branch, Indiana. I am wondering if you are related to him. If so, wanted to let you know he is the cousin of my father, Merle Larkin Godwin.
|Joyce Hooper||RE: Louise Margaret Corn Markee|
Okay, thank you for checking for me.
|Joyce Hooper||Louise Margaret Corn Markee|
Recently you made an attempt to locate Louise's headstone and was told that it did not exist by the cemetery.
It could be because her name has been listed different ways. Some say it is Elizabeth Margaret Corn Markee or Markey with nick name of Louisa. She is buried at
Oak Hill Cemetery, Plot: sec 50 lot 8 gr 12
I was hoping you could check the spot located above for me, if you have time.
Thank you for all you do for Find A Grave. Your work is greatly appreciated.
|David Southwood||RE: William Heidt|
His full name shows as Thomas William Heidt, but
in the obituary from 1903 they just refer to him
as William Heidt (not Heldt). There are 8 burials
with the last name "heidt" listed in Oak Hill
cemetery in Vanderburgh County.
I've ran into this in the past where some Oak Hill burial locations are now unknown. Rarely, if an autopsy was done they might dig a grave back up
and do an autopsy and then not rebury the person, but I do not think that is what happened to this one. It could be the person is still buried there
but there is no longer a marker or record of it.

Believe the photos you posted to this memorial should be on another memorial, since the DOD doesn't match. The info I used to create the memorial was dated 1975; the posted photos have YOD as 1982. Could you please remove the photos? Thanks.
