We have learned that walking the cemeteries and taking photos are more accurate for adding data |
I am happy to transfer if they are family. P,ease use edit tab for changes.
Four years ago we started using Find a Grave and just was out there looking for relatives. It is not a numbers game for me. It found us roaming around in cemeteries trying to locate my ancestors. We have been doing many memorials of people in many cemeteries. If you see someone that is your relative please ask for a transfer. We mostly have been in cemeteries in Webster Co, Hopkins Co Ky Recently we have been doing many Posey Co Indiana Cemeteries. I hope we can make a difference for people interested in locating their family. We long ago decided that inputting names from a book from libraries or other sources are subject to inaccuracy. You have to do the actual walking in the cemeteries to confirm dates and names and families. We take managing memorials seriously. If you want the memorials, you tacitly accept the responsibility of editing them.
My family lines are Foster , Egloff. Sanders
Lively ,Maag Huskey ,Cobb and Cates.
Thanks to my husband Milton Yuan for developing my family genealogy website I want to share the link with you www.webclad.com/genealogy It will link my family and ancestors and added pictures that have been collected and shared with anyone interested in the Foster/Egloff/Lively/Maag family
In the event that i am unable to continue to manage my memorials. I want my husband will manage my memorials.
47296715. He works very hard to help me transcribe and likes helping on Findagrave.
Please visit my sponsored memorials and leave a token for my family. My father James and June Foster Lively. My brother James Lively Jr.

Will be unable to do edits for two weeks. If you prefer to hold them and send then. Thanks.

|Pam Hawn||Verna Mae Deig|
Sorry I am using cell phone hard to write. Verna
Mae Deig's father is not Arthur Alonzo Coxes Daugter as listed on her memorial page. Arthur A. Cox is My grandfather. He was never married to a Zola Cox. ( funny though Verna does look like My mother.) To check this out here is the information Census IN.film # 2340368, line # 37, Nada pub #T626, NARA microfilm # 633.Sheet Letter,A Sheet # 29, Record # 49089. Evansville, In, Vanderburg Co.
I have a hard time finding the Coxes in My family. I was hoping this was a lead for me. :(.Thank You for Your time and effort on Find a grave.

He married Elizabeth Mary Martin and my son's grandmother was a Martin and I have been tracing that line and connected to Boyd.
That is fine. I think I am through now anyway. :) I took a bunch of photos today and sent the edit as I found them when I added the photos.
|Patricia Herrin Mitschelen ||Hi - Linda Y|
Thanks...It's been a little hectic here and I am also working on the family cemetery, Old Oaklandon, Marion County, Indiana. About 80% of the population there are related. If you do not hear from me for awhile, I'll be back on the job shortly. Thrilled that so much can be accomplished in your area....Best regards, Pat
He married Elizabeth Mary Martin and the Martin family is in my son's family line. That was how I picked him up.
Was your brother's paralysis a result of wounds received in Vietnam? That may be a reason to get his name added to The Wall.
|Melinda ||Thank you|
Thank you SO much, I had never seen the grave of my father's sisters and I was able to share it with him. My father is 76 years old and they moved from KY when he was a small child. He even found out the name of his sister who died at birth. Thank you again for contributing to this site! - Melinda

Thank you so much Linda! I hope your recovery goes well... that doesn't sound like fun. :( I am sorry you aren't feeling well. Thank you again for transferring Isabella and Louis! I am so happy about that! Deb

Iím sorry it took me so long to write back to you. I wrote to the news station and asked them if we could use the article, or at least put a link to it on Michaelís memorial. They never wrote back, so, I just wrote something. Iíll send it to you as an edit. I understand completely about you not being able leave the article on his memorial; I just hope mine is good enough.
As you can probably guess from my virtual cemeteries I have an interest in veterans. My 5th great grandfather was in the Revolutionary war, until he was kidnapped by Indians. My 4th great uncle was in the Civil War, my 2nd great uncle was in World War I, and one of my grandpas was in World War II. I would gladly put a flower on your memorials, but I might wait until Memorial Day and put something nice on them. Last year I wrote a poem to put on the memorials of the veterans in my family, because I couldnít find anything that I liked. I hope I can find something this year because Iím not very poetic.
Hope you are having a good day.

|GMG||Arthur Stanley Pitman|
Thank you for taking the photographs of the tombstone for Arthur Stanley Pitman; who is buried at Saint Augustine National Cemetery in Saint Augustine, Florida.
Linda, it is thanks to individuals like you; who volunteer their time to bring ancestors closer together, even if it is only through a photograph of their final resting place. This will help future generations in our family to know a little more about their ancestor. ~ with appreciation, George Gaston
