My husband and I have been married 35 years; we have two adult sons, and 3 grandchildren. I have been researching my family history for over 33 years now. I love genealogy research and walking the cemeteries looking for my ancestor's graves as well as volunteering to photograph grave stones for others on this site. |
I'm a volunteer for the Cemetery & Research Association of La Porte Co. In the spring of 2013, I accepted the offer to become the liaison/historian for Patton Cemetery.
The surnames of my ancestors are: CRAIG, WHITE, RHOTEN, SQUIRES, MCCORD, TAYLOR, DAVIS, WORLEY, LEGAN, ADMIRE, SUTHERLIN/SUTHERLAND, WASSON, DUGGER, COFFEY, WEBSTER, HARPER, STEVENS, BINNEY, MARGASON, VANSCOYK, BAIN, SNOW, MILLER, MILLS. My husband's ancestors that I'm researching are: SNOW, MILLER, MILLS, IMLER, WILDT, and many others not named.

I am just curious how you found out my mom's nick name?
Thank you Sharon, for adding photos of the tombstones for Martha McClary Annis and her family from Patton Cemetery. I really appreciate your time and effort.
Martha's tombstone is hard to read, and I am thinking it might be better if the sun was shining on it. If you are ever in the cemetery at a different time of day where there is better contrast, I wonder if you would be willing to try another photo? Thanks!

|Rubyann Darnell||Alexander Wasson's 1st wife Nancy|
Alexander Wasson Find A Grave # 94689294 lists 1st wife as Nancy Ichminga. I found on familysearch.org that he married Nancy Ensminger 5 Nov 1829 in Shelby County, Kentucky. It is not the original marriage book but a transcription or compilation.
Thank you for taking the time to fulfill my photo request.

Thank you Sharon for the photo of William Fren's grave marker. I appreciate your time and effort.

Thank you very much for the time and effort of finding this grave site. I have great difficulty in locating it when I'm there and when I find it I don't have my camera with me. They are aunt and uncle.
|Mike & Bushy Hartman||Hann|
I just wanted to let you know we just posted personal photos to your Hann memorials 62917918 -Elmer Hann. My husband's mother just passed us a whole Ziploc of photos some marked some not. His aunt managed to tell us who some of the people are so Mike labled them and I am posting now. We have more if you know any one up in years who might be able to assist in naming some of the unknown people, such a shame to lose these great photos. If any are wrong please let us know. Oh and our connection was Francis Loretta McGuire was first married to Elmer Hann but they did not have any children and were divorced.
Have a great day
Bushy & Mike Hartman

Thank you so much. I did not know that Garry had a headstone.
|Teri Showalter||RE: Transferring Memorial|
Thank you so much. I really appreciate it. I don't think there is a memorial set up yet for Gary Lee Eagle. I will get that done either tonight or tomorrow from the information you recently sent me.
|Teri Showalter||Transferring Memorial|
I was wondering if you would transfer two of your memorials to me. They are both in Patton Cemetery. Leonard Irvin Eagle #13318102 was my Great Grandfather and Leonard W. Eagle #133181107 was my Great Uncle. My contributor number is 47827945..
Thank you so much,
