Bio and Links
Bio Photo When I was a little girl, my parents would drive through the local cemeteries on a Sunday, for something to do. (no tv then). We would look at the markers and the names and try to think about who that person was and what their life was like. If it was a child's grave, we would always feel sad. My little granddaughter likes cemeteries, too, so maybe it is in the genes. :)

Son of Joseph Templeton Francis
On lindapages in the article about Joseph Templeton Francis, it mentions that his son, AF Francis gave the Moundsville Echo a poem written by Emanuel Francis during the Civil War.

Do you know if AF Francis is A Floy Francis? I'm trying to compile all the descendants of Emanuel.

Cunningham in Bowman Cem.
Hi Eleanor, I was at the Bowman Cem. Saturday and I found a Phyllis there but I think that 1943 is the year she was born there is no other date on the stone. She is on the same stone as her parents Herbert & Virginia. If you read the memorial of her father who died in 2006, she was still living at that time, unless this is a different Phyllis. Carla :)

RE: Francis Photo
Eleanor, I had it on but it was the other Joseph that is in the cemetery. I didn't realize it until I put the photo on and saw that it was the other Joseph that already had a photo. I didn't see any other Joseph in the book so I thought I had the right one. I'm sorry, I will look around for the other Joseph when I go back. Greenlawn & Mt. Rose are together so it was difficult to tell which cemetery you where in. They have Greenlawn cut nice now with Sections marked so if you know which section the person is in it is a lot better to find the gravestones. Mt. Rose nothing is marked so you just have to walk around to find the stones. Carla

Jesse Van Meter Cunningham
I see you had posted a picture from this cemetery and I am trying to get a picture of Jesse's headstone and another person asked for it back in 2013 but she has not received it yet. If you are close would you PLEASE see if you can find and get a picture for us? His memorial #113976605.
Thank you
