harrison cemetery Oliver Gulley
Hi Janis

On find a grave you have Willis Oliver Gulley as son of Ellis Gulley. Where did you get the name Willis? I've never found any documents with that name on them.

Thanks

RE: Sophronia Ann Cross father confusion
I believe that part of the confusion re: the parentage of Sophronia Ann Cross Kirk is that her birth father was Charles Cross but her step-father was Thomas Montgomery. So when someone says her father was Thomas Cross, I think they confused the two fathers, substituting the given name of her stepfather for the given name of her birth father; thus, Charles Cross (birth father) became Thomas Cross (from her stepfather, Thomas Montgomery). I hope this helps somewhat.

James lewis jr. Lewis hole
You posted a statement about the demise and burial of James lewis jr. The info came from Everett lewis book. I have a copy of the book and that info is not in my copy and also not in the copy held by lawyer Larry lewis. Also I could not find lewis hole. What I think is middle fork creek does not have enough water to drown in at least now. The middle fork of the big muddy river may be called middle fork creek. Also I cannot find the farm of Charles mckemie. I can be reached at a9lewis49@yahoo.com. Please comment. Al
