May your happiness increase with your virtues, may generous hearts, true friendships, peaceful and happy firesides, be the reward of your labors of love...
[from Ebenezer R Child (1777-1866)]

My motivation is to provide historical records to others. "Pay it forward." If what I've posted helps you in your genealogy or provides you some comfort because you can visit a grave from near or far, then my mission is accomplished and I urge you to help others in some way.

I don't mind if you use my pics for your personal use or even on your genealogy website but say where it came from!! If you save a photo to your computer from, reference and the memorial number, let others know about this website! Without the reference, I consider the image stolen.

If you have any add'l info or corrections on any of the memorials I have posted please use the "EDIT" tab on the memorial to send me a "correction or suggestion."

I am most willing - and passionate - to make the memorials as detailed as possible. I use online and/or hard copy vital records and census records, along with family genealogies and other biographies, data, and newspaper articles to make the memorials I post as complete as possible - I have several projects going at the same time so it may take awhile for me to add details. Research takes time so if you come across one of my memorials that lacks details and you have some, please help me out and send the details along to me via the EDIT tab.

Upon my death I authorize any of my memorials to be transferred to any FAG contributor as they are requested.
[thanks to FAG Cathy Clark for this statement on her contributor page as this is my desire and agreement wholeheartedly - perfect and appropriate]

Hilton Family
Thank you so much for all the work you did on the Hilton headstones. It was sad that there aren't any for the three of them, but the pictures of the grave information helped me confirm who they are - a greatx2 grandfather, a greatx4 grandfather, and a missing sister to the great32 grandfather. For the first time in almost 125 years we finally know what happened to Vera Mildred Hilton's father.

Sarah Rowe
The only two people listed on the stone are George H. and Sadie Rowe. It says at the bottom they are children of G. E. and S. F. Rowe so I am not sure Sarah is on this stone. Sue

Almond/Almon Thatcher
Apparently the family liked nicknames. I found a census with a
Almon E Thatcher who was 7 years old. The birthdate corresponded with the birthdate of Elvert Almon Thatcher whom you did do research on. I'm pretty sure it's the same kid...

Sherman/Hemingway connection
You contacted me several months ago about Maria Sherman, daughter of Kelly Sherman and Susan Hemingway and questioned if she was perhaps related to Adonijah and Emerson Hemenway who she was buried near in Burnett Cemetery in Florida, Mass. After I received some other information on Maria's sister Leptha Sherman Houghton, I was able to make the link. As a result, we've established that Susan Hemenway was a daughter of Daniel Hemenway and Hannah Collier and sister to Clark Hemenway who was the father of Adonijah and Emerson. Thanks for the tip because we were able to find a lost daughter and her family.
