Helping to Add photos and listing to the 14 Cemeteries of Harmon County, Oklahoma...Visit my genealogy located at "Free" site at Rootsweb.com over 200,000 entries. I started genealogy in 1995 before I had a computer, used Family History Center in Bagdad, Arizona where I found friends who loved genealogy as much as I do! Moved back to Delbert's Roots in Oklahoma to retire. I have walked the 14 cemeteries many times making lists to place online, now, walking with my camera... to update ! (On my 4th camera)
P S: If you notice a big dark blob on the marker, it may be my DNA...SWEAT....got a few drops on some in Wellington-2012 Quanah 2013-14

Many many thanks to my Friend MARILYN of the Dodson Cemetery Association for the wonderful bios she has sent !!! She is doing a fantastic job digging up this information and I am very grateful for her giving a story to these pages !!!
Hours of work, enhancing these Memorial pages in Texas and Oklahoma.
I hear ethereal whispers, persuasive, soft and still, "Daughter, if you don't remember us, who will ?"..(stolen from .., who stole it from ..!)

Thank you so much for the photos of my Martin relatives in the Altus cemetery. I made a trip last year to Altus, but was unable to find them. Planned another trip this year, but now I have their photos!

Received and approved your edit but I noticed that it came across as 1st Add, DR-12, Lot 31 B and wonder if 1st Add isn't something that Find A Grave put on and maybe needs to be removed?

Jeanette, I have noticed that you have done lots of research on the "Davis" Family and that is what I have been working on as well as my moms side of the family who were "Sides". I have also been tracking our Indian Heritage for both sides as well. I have a certified death certificate for my great grandma Maggie R. Duncan Davis if you need her exact info. I am new to genealogy so I don't know how all this works. :)God Bless and maybe we could help each other out. Have a Blessed day even in the rain!

Yes I did all of the military markers in Altus cemetery. I also did 3 other full sections but don't remember which ones now. Sorry
I am looking for information on the Annis family. I see that you have done a lot of work in the Quanah Memorial Park in Hardeman County, Texas. I live in McCurtain County, Ok. My granddad was married to Bessie Nora (Annis) Bryant til her death. She is buried in Quanah, in an unmarked grave I guess. I created a memorial for her recently from information given to me by Bessie's son's daughter. In the Pollard Cemetery, there is a grave (with gravestone) for Jim Annis, no dates, and the cemetery book has no dates for him. There is also a grave for Martha Florence Bryant, my granddad's sister-in-law. I know her maiden name was Annis. I'd like any information you might have for the Annis family so I can add links. Would really appreciate any help you could give me. Edward E. Annis, buried in Quanah, was born in Idabel, about 10 miles northwest of Pollard Cemetery. Thanks
Only the poster can move a photo. I manage the memorial, but I didn't post the photo. Since these are duplicate memorials I'll get them merged and solve your issue in one move. Thanks for letting me know.
