US NAVY 1966-1968 Silent Service|
VIET-NAM VETERAN (Radioman)
Radio operator on (2) submarines & a supply ship.
Duty stations in order of service:
USS RASHER AGSS-268
USS BAYA AGSS-318
USS GRAFFIAS AF-29
Main ID card VA & proud Navy Veteran !!
I specalize in babies (because they never got a chance) and veterans (because they gave us the chances that we have).
I'm hampered by 14K dial-up, so putting in fotos takes a while, be patient.
As a result of sub-service speed, I do most of my postings between 0400-0700 Texas time when internet usage is at a minimum.
Retired from GTE dba Verizon in Plano, Tx in 2007 after 27 years.
The dog in the foto is Precious, she is my constant traveling companion, mess with me and she goes into action, for real. !!!

Finally getting back to you with some info. I didn't do the research but I passed it on to a relative who has access to Newspapers.com. He found an interesting story about Mama D which is now posted on the memorial he created for the dog. I'm sure that since Valton and Christine Horn didn't have any children that Cricket is probably a dog also. I thought you might like to know the rest of the story.

Thank you again for your efforts. I am anxious to get back on my research. I hope that I can "pay it forward" by photographing cemeteries in my area. Going through some of the old cemeteries and seeing how time has taken a toll on some of the headstones has made preserving history (with photos) important to me. Thanks again for taking the time to go by the Burch Cemetery. Have a blessed day.

|Tia Rutledge||Thank You|
Thank you for taking the pictures for my grandfather and uncle (Dollar).
I would like to ask your permission to save the photos to my computer system that you took for FindaGrave.com for my personal genealogy research and posting to my family online. I will give credit to your work. Will you permit me to do that?
I really appreciate this,

Thank you for all of your efforts. If I give you photo credit, may I use your photos on my ancestry.com tree? I would greatly appreciate the addition of the photos. I live in MS so there is no way that I visit the Burch Cemetery myself. Thanks again. Have a blessed day.
