Hi People,

Things are plodding along. My Gardner database is up to over 98,000 people. I am adding in early 1800's data from the surrounding four towns. I have finished Westminster, Ashburnham and Winchendon and I am currently working on Templeton.

The Templeton one is made more difficult because there is no History of Templeton online. There is no starting place like what is found in the published histories of the other four towns. So, I am going through the vital records and essentially creating the genealogical record for Templeton. If I finish by the end of the year I'll be amazed.

If you do not wish to have a memorial online for your relative then let me know and I will delete it.

I have not cleaned the stones so you might come across a photo of one of your relative's stones and think, "what a mess". If you would like a better picture posted then I can go out and retake it no problem and do a little clearing away of dirt and weeds to boot. I just figured I could get all the photos done in a more timely manner and then make a better effort on the ones people actually are interested in seeing.

I have determined the genealogy of most of the original settlers (see my website below) of Gardner MA. Most of these people are buried in the Old Burial Ground while a few are in Green Bower and Crystal Lake Cemeteries. I have also traced the lineages of their progeny as far as the early 1900s and sometimes further.

I am not originally from this town and so I would be glad to transfer the memorials if you want them. As always, feel free to download any photo I've taken and I'd be glad to do some searching in my area if you can't do it yourself.

'Nuff said. Ed

Mary Parmenter Bennitt
Memorial # 5054791

Her name is improperly spelled and should be Bennett and you will note that both spellings are in the links in the memorial body.

The reason that I am using this to inform you is that another contributor has crated Memorial # 109847490 for the same person and one needs to be removed. I think your, as the older , is better and more complete but I will leave you to work that out with the other contributor.

Adaline Nutting Kendall 76871901, her parents, Charles and Nancy, brother Charles H. Still checking on Perry L and Mary L. who may also be there.

Elizabeth Whitmore Markham
Dear Mr. Poulin,
Thank you for your entry for Elizabeth Whitmore Markham's grave in Old Burying Ground Cambridge Middlesex County Massachusetts, USA. Memorial# 75408047. Your reference concurred with research I had found in my search of Daniel Markham, father of Deacon Daniel Markham and James Markham. Thank you for your work.

I would agree with everything you said. I've added a link to your memorial on mine.

Solomon Steward or Stewart
Could you tell me where you found this info for Memorial # 51725580.

The only place I can find death dates are in Stewart Clan Magazine dated 1924.

He is my 6th great-grandfather. Have walked some of the gravesites where he and Elizabeth may be buried but nothing yet.
