I am researching Byrne/Byrn, Fifield/Pease/Smith, Cowden/Couden, Burtnett/Burnett, Coy/Champlin, Card, Cahoon and the Colquhoun Clan and also enjoy visiting cemeteries in different regions with my husband and fulfilling photo requests. If there is a memorial you would like updated or transferred, please let me know.|
Feel free to use the tombstone photos my husband has taken that I have submitted or sent to you, in any way you choose, except for creating duplicate Find A Grave memorials or adding them to your own memorials for which you have asked me to delete mine, or which you have subsequently deleted after my transferring the memorials to you. Please contact me about using any cemetery profile photos or family photos. Thank you.

Thank you so much for taking this photo and creating a memorial for Violet.
Thank you so much for looking for my husband's relative. I was there and photographed what I thought was all of the Fish graves. When I got home I didn't find Orton's. Like you said, Orton is probably in the unmarked site. Thank you so much for your time looking into it. Kat

I sent reply to your email, thanks so much for offer to share photo.
|LBWL (Lin)||RE: Charles Seyffer|
I was married to his late Grandson David Lyle Seyffer which made me dau-in-law to his son
Lorenze Lyle Seyffer.
My husband told me how stupid it was that Chas had to register for both WWI Draft & register as an Alien Enemy during WWI.
The Kansas Registration of Affidavits of Alien Enemies was completed on Feb 7, 1918
Then he registered for WWI Draft on Sept 12,1918.
But.. the Alien Registry was a goldmine, from it I learned where Charles was born, that he arrived from Germany on Apr 7,1889 aboard the ship Xerra in NYC along w/his parents Katherine & Christian Leanhart Seyffer (who had both died by 1918)
But what is truly astounding about the Alien Affidavit, his wife, USA born. Abbie, also had to fill out registry.
Not sure abt geography of Iola & surrounding communities, but from what I understood,
Charles had heart issue's & the dust blowing in KS made him worse, so he, Abbie & family moved from place in Woodson back to area in Iola where her family lived, right before he died.
It seems to run in family, his son Lorenze "Sy" had heart issue's for years before passing in his sleep at 52yrs (1976) & David laid down to take a nap & never woke up at 53yrs (2007).

Thank you so much for your response to my photo request! I didn't know that Martha was buried next to her first husband, and that helped in locating that burial and memorial also. Your services are very much appreciated!!

|Leslie Acord||Re: Mary Austin|
No worries. It was no inconvenience all at. I'm just so glad we found her and her husband. Many people were buried in Old Stone Church cemetery and then later moved to Rosewood. So for all we know, Mary and Samuel may have been buried there after all, at one time. Let me know of there is anything I can do to help you. :)
