RE: Look who I found
Well, you sure did!! How about that? Way to go!! I had no idea they had another child. Did you just dig his stone up today?? Since Solomon Shultz came "west" in 1856 (according to his son's bio) that little fellow must have died before then. I wonder if he was stillborn since he wasn't named?
I'm sure you already know this, but sometimes the name of the child is written in raised lettering across the top edge of the stone - where it receives the most weathering. Any chance there is anything there? It really doesn't look like the kind of tombstone that would have writing on the top though.
When I received your note, the name of your cemetery rang a bell with me......I wonder if Solomon Shultz (father of the child you found) is a son of Balzer/Balsar Schultz/Shultz who is also buried at Madison Truro Cemetery and has a cenotaph at Long Cemetery in Belleview, Calhoun County, Illinois? The cemetery Solomon is buried in is about 10 miles from from the cenotaph for Balzer Shultz at Long Cemetery.
Any thoughts?
Thank you for your hard work finding the tombstone and letting me know about it!! It looks like you are working on restoring the cemetery, yes?
Your friend,
Kathy

Transfer of Morford
Thank you for the transfer of John Randolph & Alice Swim Morford in Greenlawn Cemetery. I appreciate being able to manage the memorials of my great, great grandparents.

Hi

Thank you for the correct cemetery, I just got home yesterday from open heart surgery and was unable to move the memorial earlier.

Green Lawn
Just happened across another memorial to a Civil War veteran that you were instrumental in updating and photographing. Haven't heard from you in a while, so wanted to say thanks for all your hard work to make sure our veterans are remembered and promoting Green Lawn Cemetery.

RE: Infant So
Glad it all worked out! I think those "glitch" memorials will keep showing up now and again. I lost 6 Wilsons on June 21. Have no idea where they are! :-)

RE: Carson twins in Madison Truro Cemetery
Hello. Unsure of what may have caused the deaths of the twins. I believe they were children of James & Calista Stephenson Carson.
