Headstone photos that are posted on my contributions to FindAGrave are available in a print quality .jpg file upon request

If you would like to have information added to a memorial, please follow the Find A Grave procedure using the Edit tab on that memorial and I will gladly add the info. Below is the Find A Grave transfer process. Please be aware that any memorial can have info added by using the EDIT tab on the memorial so a transfer is not necessary.

***Determine if you really need the memorial transferred to you for management. You can add photos and suggest corrections without having to request management. Simply having someone in your family tree is not grounds for a management transfer request. With hundreds of thousands of contributors, we have many overlapping family trees and it would be impossible for all contributors to manage their entire tree.

***Transfer requests will be for direct relatives within four generations. This would be your siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren.

***Keep in mind that the original contributor may also be related to the memorial and may not make the transfer. Bulk surname requests must not be made.

***"Suggest a correction" feature may also be used to submit corrections, an original biography, and family links to memorials that do not fall under the above definition. (Be sure to include the memorial ID#s for the family links and how they are related, father, mother or spouse. The original contributor will make any corrections and add any additional information you have for that memorial, such as links to parents and spouses, provided the information is accurate.

***The new EDIT system has generated a HUGE amount of work and caused correct info to be changed to incorrect info. PLEASE use the EDIT tab to offer your contributions but use the "other" option so the memorials will have confirmed and documented info that has been researched. Even if it is a date, location ,etc. change. use the "OTHER" option to send your info.
This new system has made info posted questionable where before you could rely on the research completed for each memorial.

If you would like the higher resolution photo of a headstone I have posted, please leave a public message.

RE: Headstone Photos
I couldn't find John Wilson-He wasn't on Ben Glicks' listing, so I wonder if he didn't have a stone put up. There were a few empty spots near George Wilsons' stone-maybe that is where he is at.
Was great to be out again-bring on spring!

Flavious Pigeon Houser
Hi LP,
Sorry to bother you again. I'm wondering how to reconcile the info on the death certificate for Flavious (Flavius). One place it shows he died 17 Oct 1921, another that he died 17 Oct 1923. And his burial was 19 Oct 1923. Please advise. Many thanks.
Best regards,
Barbara Long

It was some homework, but I found her father and added her mother. Thank you for the information.

RE: Phillip Hopkins
I understand what you mean. I have some concerns about that also, but they do post it themselves in the Newspapers for the obituaries. So I have mixed feelings about it. Thanks for your memorials that you post.

Florea Family
Hello LP,

Thank you for making the recent updates to the Florea Family. I am working on the Peterson Family History and appreciate being able to connect family members. The Peterson and Florea Families are related in many ways as are my GG Grandparents John Thomas and Drusilla Ann (Florea) Peterson.

Thanks again for your help.

Cemetery Hopping in Missouri
You are so very welcome for the photos! Missouri was just stunningly gorgeous, and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why anybody in their right minds would leave for west Kansas. Beautiful country, the Folks living there were so very nice, 100 million things going on for it...and then I tried to dig out a headstone that was lying flat in and being overgrown by grass, pretty close to Noon. Truly thought I was going to fall over from heat stroke. Unbelievable.
Beautiful, beautiful country and people. I'll go back! In the Fall!
