August, 1895

BUTLER--Mrs. Nancy J. Butler departed this life August 19, 1895. She was born in Mahaska County, Iowa, March 5, 1865 and married to Mr. Joseph Butler, April 3, 1892. The funeral took place at the house, August 28, 1895, conducted by Rev. F. M. Shults. After which the deceased was taken to the Butler Cemetery for interment, followed by a large concourse of people. Thus one by one the bonds are severed and our friends are crossing over the river Death.
