Requesting your permission to use photo of the entrance to the cemetery in our personal family tree. Marie has a cousin interred there and the photo will make a great addition to our tree.

|Lois Harriman||Peter & Sarah Oman Photo Request|
Peter & Sarah Oman are not buried in Schoolcraft Township Cemetery in Vicksburg, MI. They are buried in Schoolcraft Township Cemetery in Schoolcraft, MI. This is a case of duplicate memorials and confusion over the different cemeteries under the administration of Schoolcraft Township. Both creators appear to be inactive too. Their memorials (#45836249 )include photos. If you need confirmation about which cemetery is the correct one go to "http://www.kalamazoogenealogy.org/Cemeteries/Search.htm" and do a search of Oman. They have pictures of the stones there too.
|Allyn Spear||Willhide Memorials|
I was able to get out to photograph the Willhide and Wade memorials, although the Iowa weather has not been very cooperative so they are not "beautiful" pictures, so I do apologize. With regard to Joseph Willhide's monument, you can probably see that the engraving is quite worn and barely readable. Although probably not until the Spring, I plan to get back out to that cemetery and make some rubbings of some of the older markers to see if I can read any information. I will be sure to update you with anything I find.

Can you please call the cemetery and obtain the grave location (Section & Lot numbers) and ask them whether or not there is a grave marker?
Forest Home Cemetery: 708-366-1900 or 773-287-0772
This cemetery will not assist photo volunteers with finding the grave's location and the Find A Grave FAQs (Help File) states it is the photo requestors job to provide this information.
Thank you! Ace

You are very welcome. I am glad I could help! I'm sorry it took me so long. I claimed the requests the day they came in and planned to get them the next day. However, I ended up watching my niece that week and helping potty train a puppy, then I came down with the flu. But I finally got them! Thanks for being patient. If there is anything else I can ever do, please feel free to give me a holler

Hi Dennis, I am still working on this, but her name was Eliza Jones, born about 1805 in Buffalo, Erie, New York, and died 20 May 1878 in Toledo, Lucas, Ohio. I haven't found a F.A.G. memorial for her yet, but am still looking as I do not want to duplicate one if it's there. I'll be sending you a SAC once I get it confirmed. Thanks again for all you do. I just saw your photo request for Mrs. Steeve and wondered if you wanted her memorial transfered to you, along with her daughter and son-in-law.
Word to the wise: if you want a faster turnaround on the photos--depending on weather, call the Forest Home office for the plot locations, and when calling, please ask if there's headstone or marker. Thanks!
