Regarding one more sibling
Paul, I noticed that Susannah Johnson Swartout has her parents, but not her siblings on her Memorial Site. Generally if the parents are there, and if each of the other siblings are connected, then the fourth child ought to be connected as well, right?

Her Mem. # is27354599; her mother's Mem. # is 37129448 and her dad's is 65258807. She is listed as one of their children on both parent's sites, but she is not listed with her siblings. I can't figure out why as her folks are there.

Thank you for looking into this.

Thanks
Just wanted to thank you for adding the photos of my parents' gravestones from Rock Island National Cemetery. Happened upon the link and appreciated seeing their names. I added a couple pictures of them (James L. and Dorothy Bowen) from 1944-45.

pre-need memorials
It is my understanding that pre-need is acceptable if the person was born BEFORE 1930:

Is it acceptable to add a memorial for someone who is still living?
Please try to avoid it. In general, we do not encourage adding memorials for individuals who are still living. We do realize, however, that when transcribing a cemetery, it is not always possible to determine if the person is living or not. Please do not add pre-need memorials from (1931-present) to Find A Grave. Memorials for individuals who are alive will be removed when requested (the exception being for 'famous' individuals who already have a burial location in place). You are always welcome to create a 'pre-need' memorial for yourself, if you would like, provided that you have a pre-need headstone already in place in a cemetery.

RE: Forsyth to St. Marys
Hello, Paul,

Thanks for your good work.

I agree that the alias is a BIG problem -- and it is bogus.

I have asked FindAGrave to please delete the alias, as well as the false statements about St. Mary's on the Forest Cemetery home page.

As the St. Mary's home page states, St. Mary's has been a separate cemetery for 124 years -- and more fiscally sound than Forest, I might add. The city of Oskaloosa just gave Forest Cemetery $50,000 to keep the gates open, and St. Mary's will not see a penny of that money.

All the best, Bill
