Please do not copy and post personal photographs of my family members to other websites such as ancestry.com without my permission. I do not have a problem with reusing my tombstone photos, but credit would be a good idea as they are my photos. Also note that I did not take all of the photos on my memorials and can't give permission for the ones I didn't take to be reused.
My husband and I started trying to trace our roots back to Europe about 10 years ago. We were fortunate that several of our ancestors had kept some records and created family books which were the start of our adventures. We were surprised to learn that both of our families had branches in this country since the 1700's. Most of the entries I've made have some connection to these families, although remote at times (cousins many times removed). A few are just made from photos taken as we walked a cemetery looking for our family members.

Thank you for the obituary. Record has been updated!
Thank you for creating the memorials to Elizabeth M. Rodgers Nowels (Memorial #12001636), Harold Clyde Besst (Memorial #12001660), and Richard E. Wynkoop (Memorial #16153648)and also for processing my suggested edits.

Thanks so much for sending the information. I appreciate you taking the time. I noticed you are correct and there is a memorial already done for her, so I deleted mine. Appreciate your help! Sharing information is so important for all of us!
Have a blessed day....

Thank you for placing that detailed obituary on the life of Monroe Smith Cox on "his" page.
I remember Monroe and Earlene from the 1980's. He doted on her when she was sick - they were like sweethearts when they came to the Allenspark Cafe.
I heard today that their son died on Feb. 4, 2015.
Again, thank you.

Thanks for the the input. It does appear that that that partial memorial was part of a glitch and has now been deleted deferring to the one for "Vaughn, Thurman" instead. John

Thanks so much for the last name! Without this information, I could not try and find information about her to add to the memorial. Now I can try. I appreciate you taking the time to contact me! Appreciate very much your efforts to Find A Grave!

Thank you for the notification of the memorial for "Bertha Louise" Uknown. I have deleted the one in question I'm sure it is actually a mistake, or a glitch, as you said. The actual memorial for a Bertha Louise Bruce Stone is correct and should be the only one entered.
Thanks much for the heads up on the "Tanle" memorial. I was experiencing all kids of problems when I set it up...I couldn't get it to print out the full memorial info. I went back to it a couple of times..same problem. I thought I would give it more time. So glad you noticed the glitch, and took the time to notify me. I have deleted the memorial. It was, of course, supposed to be for Stanley George Schulz. Thanks again.
