I added a couple of more things for Joseph and Mary Foxworthy that I found among some things their gg-grandson gave me to go through.
|Hallie Smeltz Martinson||Joseph Foxworthy died 1911|
I just posted Joseph's funeral card to your page.
My aunt by marriage is of his direct line.
Dorothy Naylor m Harry Austin Lyon (he my uncle)
Dorothy's parents Harry Naylor and Edith Millicint Parker.
Edith's parents were Henry Parker and Mary Elizabeth "Betty" Foxworthy. Betty d/o Joseph Foxworthy and Mary Maria Hargan.
Dorothy and Edith are both buried at Ivy Lawn Cemetery, Ventura, CA.
Dorothy had 2 brothers, Paul and James. 2 sisters Mary and Ruth. All came to Ventura County, CA in the early to mid 1930's.
Dorothy's son bought me several boxes of photo albums etc etc and a lot has to do with his maternal line.
If you are interested in this line I would be happy to share what I have.

Thanks Janet, for checking to see if she was buried with her gravestone. I appreciate it more than you can know.

Thanks Janet for a very nice grave photo.

The gravestone is NOT of a living person. My aunt, Beth Ilene (Miller) Winfrey was born 1 Jan 1925, Colby, Thomas County, Kansas and died in an Alzheimer's care home on 10 Jun 2010, Gainesville, Alachua County, Florida. I am trying to determine whether she is buried beside her husband and the date of death has not been added or whether she was possibly cremated and her ashes have not been added to the gravesite.
