|Edmund Burke said "People will not look forward to posterity, who never look back to their ancestors." I do believe that is true and have been dabbling in genealogy research on my husband's and my families for about 40 years plus I have a library science background. Between the two and the love of solving puzzles, I love research of any kind. When I found this site I was excited because it is easy to use, has a wealth of information on ancestral burials, plus it's free! I love this site and am on it every day searching or adding information. I will keep working and seeking more information to help our family trees along, plus help others as I can.|
Thanks for this wonderful website!

Thanks you for transferring the memorials of my GG Grandparents Edward and Elizabeth Smith. I appreciate it so much

Hi there, Lois. I've noticed that you are the creator/maintainer or about a dozen people with the surname Prochaska, Lukas, or Lastovica. It turns out that these are descendants of my 5x great-grandfather & mother (Josef Prochazka & Ludmila Duspivova).
It looks like you are probably more closely related to the Lukas and Lastovica lineages than I am, so you can keep management of said memorials--just disregard my emails about transfers.
Thank you for posting all of the information, photos, and linking them with their family members. You have helped me fill in a HUGE missing gap I've had with the Prochaska lineage.

Thanks so very much for transferring Harry, Klass, and Alfred to my account.
These are all important parts of my ancestry.

Hi Lois, Thanks for getting back to me. I understand that you have some photos you took and you were not sure how to get them on to find a grave. If you claimed the photo, then you get a link in an email (I've seen some photos you've posted so you seem to have no problem there). The other way to add a photo to any memorial is to just go to that memorial and click "add photo" (if there is no memorial, and you have the photo, then it would be so great if you could add that memorial--create it your self-- and then add the photo). I sure hope that helps. Can't wait to see more of your photos--all the Best, Iris

Hi Lois, There is a memorial #113367059, with a photo request. The problem is that whoever created this cemetery didn't put any location, directions, or any information at all as to where they found this cemetery! Can you help me out so I can fill this request? Thank you so much!

Hi Lois, Just a quick question. You claimed Jose Bermudez at the Mission Santa Inez but I see he's open again. I could claim him but I'm wondering if you tried to locate the grave and could not or if there was no headstone, or if you just ran out of time to fill the request? Any words of wisdom? Do you have to pay the entrance fee if you are just visiting the graveyard? Thanks, Iris

I was searching for the very same thing. I inherited the pages of CKB because of that person being inactive or deceased. I don't know anything about this person or the family line. Sorry.
