San Dimas, California -- I am documenting our Pittman line genealogy with the passing of my father. My mother and father gathered lots of misc. info over 50 years.|
I manage a German "Pittman Lines" site on MyHeritage.com, with tree lines back up to 815 years, but am now seeking information/ documentation for accuracy and to fill in the gaps; and separate legends from the facts. Exploring the connects by marriages has been amazing, seeing the expansive history of America.
Family names include: Adams, Carlyle, Conrad, Crockett, Dutt, Kanka, Eddleman/Edelmann/Edlemann, Major, Mauck, Pittman/Pitman/Bittman/Bittmann, Small, Smoots, Snapp, Trabue, Whetstone, Wiseman, Zumwalt.
On my wife's side: Farny (Farni/Farnu), Auer, Baldwin, Creakbaum, Crouse, Dietsch, Holloway, Jones, Kinch, Poelhuis, Schmitt, Warren.
I finally have some research time. As I visit local cemeteries more often, I include random graves to check to Find a Grave. If one belongs to your family, please let me know. My permission is given for the use of any pictures for genealogy purposes.

|Sherry Duty||William Harlon and Jessie Berkley|
Thanks for the photo of William Harlon and his wife Jessie Patricia Berkley. Showing that Aunt Pat does not have a marker is upsetting but the photos are very much appreciated.
|Sherry Duty||Margaret Berkley|
Thanks very much for trying to photograph memorial for Margaret Berkley. I had no idea that she did not have a stone, but very much appreciate your time and trouble, and confirmation that there is no marker.

Thank you for taking the great photo.
|MarshaHale||Daborah A. Sebastian|
Thank you so much for the photo of Deborah A. Sebastian's gravesite. It has taken me years to find her death certificate, and now to have found her gravesite is amazing. Her husband James M. Sebastian fought in the Civil War with the Union. He lost the bottom half of his right leg in battle, yet he put himself through law school and eventually became a judge. He is buried in Kentucky. It is good to know that Deborah's daughter Laura Sebastian Hale took care of her in the end.
Thanks again, Marsha Hale

Thanks very much for documenting and then transferring the memorial you created for my cousin's husband, and for adding the picture you took to her grave as well. I sure appreciate the work you do as a volunteer!
