What are you looking at, when I went to check it, It IS spelled Blankinship
Now if you are talking about the obit info, I don't CHANGE what is printed in the obit, it is spelled Blankenship, you don't change newspaper info. & you spelled Westley (really spelled Wesley)
|Glenda Whitaker Subyak||RE: Blankenship?Blankinship|
I thought so, when I started working on Blankenship/Blankinship, but was told some of them spelled their names Blankenship & some spelled it Blankinship, like some other names, are spelled different.

I am sorry but I did not add this memorial. You will have to get a hold of Rosa Cline.

Transfer done. Floy Nell was my 3rd cousin. You are my 3rd cousin, once removed. For future reference, it makes it easier if you request transfers from the edit tab on the memorial itself.

Your very welcome. God Bless
|Debbie Holth||RE: Jimmy Caple|
If I did, I go through and leave random notes and tokens/flowers at times. It gives me pleasure to remember someone.
|Debbie Holth||RE: Jimmy Caple|
I don't think so - that name does not sound familiar. Could you help jog my memory? Thanks, Debbie
|Reverend Larry||RE: Matilda|
My Two Great Great Grand Fathers William Taylor (1805-1883) and William Ledgerwood (1811-1898) showed up maybe at the same time in the California 1849 Gold Rush. It is possible they met and traveled on the same wagon train to Northern California. In the 1870's they moved their families together to Central Oregon shortly after their Children James Taylor and Rachel Ledgerwood married. Almost all of the Ledgerwoods can trace their roots back to my GGGG Grand Father William Ledgerwood (1701-1791) who brought his wife and 5 children to America around 1739. So yes if you have Ledgerwood in your tree, we are related. I found out this last week that my GGG Grand Father James Ledgerwood married Bertia Pierce and she is very likely related to Pres. Franklin Pierce and also the Captain of the Mayflower on her second trip to America. Of Course Ledgerwood comes from The Woods of ST. Ledger who lived in Scotland in the 1600's.
Nice meeting you. I have fish like yours in the river that runs nearby. LOL
Many Blessings! and Merry Christmas!
Rev. Larry Taylor (Ledgerwood Descendant)
