I am pleased to announce that Mt Pleasant has been completely photographed. That is those stones that are visible. The photos are not posted on FAG but I check the request list against my database.|
All those photo requests are most likely unmarked or illegible grave sites.
Any memorial page I have created I have a picture of the headstone.
If you want a photo officially request one, don't bury your request in a spouse or another family members photo request.
Too many volunteers are now asking for other volunteers to do their research, please try and do your own on your time.
I take responsibility ONLY for the information obtained from the headstone unless otherwise specified by me. There are very few exceptions.
Due to the changes and procedures for adding addition information it is very time consuming to include the source. Find A Grave DOES NOT provide a way to show where the information comes from.
In light of these changes and the automated edit system, which makes it almost impossible to deny acceptance of changes and addition, I have been transferring all memorial pages to those wishing to make edits. This too has become too time consuming.
Therefore, in order to include the changes whether the information is CORRECT OR NOT I feel I am being forced to accept all edits. I hate this part because I have had quite a few people send edits only to resend two or three times in order to make corrections.
If you find errors send corrections but do not, I repeat DO NOT ask me about the information posted or hold me responsible for the additions. This goes against all genealogical best practices, but the only other solution would be to take down all the memorials and pictures I have posted.
If you find an error, double listing or double picture please let me know so I can correct the problem.
I have in the past used a picture of the cemetery gate/sign with "Office couldn't locate a burial for this person" imprinted on it. If you get this posting and do find a picture of you persons tombstone, let me know and I will remove it.
SHOULD YOU WISH TO MANAGE A MEMORIAL PAGE, PLEASE JUST ASK FOR A TRANSFER.

|Tricia Clark||Florentine Goslowski Butz (1843-1898)|
You asked me about Florentine's family and arrival date. The best way to answer, is to let you know there are two different families.
Florentine Goslowski Butz wife of Joseph and mother to Joseph M. (1872-1902) and August (1882-?) they arrived from Germany in 1888 and settled in N. Syracuse.
Florentiine Grentz Butz (1853-1945) wife of Andrew and mother to August (1880-1943), Joseph Andrew (1882-1959), Andrew J. (1887-1920) and John (1893-1961) this family arrived in 1906 and also settle in N. Syracuse.
Both families are in the Assumption Cemetery.
I hope this info helps.

Father Thomas Keenan ( abt 1812- 1883)
Mother his third wife Bridget McCauley ( 1842- 1883).
Mary Elizabeth is one of Thomas' 23 children born in Lindsay, Victoria, Ontario, Canada.

Yeah, saw that but also noted that photos were of a temp and taken 5 years ago within 6 mos of burial so figured to drop by and see if a permanent marker had ever been placed.
