Ancestors & relatives never really go away, they get buried, cremated or vaulted in a sacred place for us to visit and remember. After all, where would we be without our ancestors? As much as it hurts to lose a loved one, we must be thankful for the time we had together. These memorials in FIND A GRAVE are growing by a million a month and make it easier for the world to find & see the memorials of their loved ones. Through these memorials, they live on.
Passionate is an understatement, Genealogy & Cemeteries are a big part of my life. Have 35 years of sometimes obsessive research under my belt. I'm one of the very few volunteers for Madison County, NY which is 662 square miles with 285 Cemeteries and endless hills (up to 1800 ft) & valleys, so go easy on me folks.
Genealogically I picked up where my Grandfather and his father left off. I specialize in Madison County, NY and surrounding areas and Warren County, NY. If you find your relative in my memorials and would like transfers or to add bios, or corrections let me know. All my photos are free for distribution.

Though it feels like "good-bye", we know that in reality, for those of us who have a personal relationship with the Lord Jesus Christ it is merely, "see-you-later"

Taphophilia is a interest for and enjoyment of cemeteries. Taphophilia involves epitaphs, gravestone rubbing, photography, art, and history of deaths. The singular term is a taphophile.

Thank you for transferring Ann Brown's memorial (#108865217) to me. Do you know if Ann has a headstone?

RE: Wrights
The only ones in New Woodstock are my mother and father (Mary and Leslie). Being new to this if you want to transfer that plot (it has one vacancy in it that is unlikely to be used)to me I will use it as a learning experience.

I know some of the others but do not have an established relationship link to them.

I just reviewed the Find-a-Grave listing for my father (Leslie Wright) Buried in New Woodstock. I see his middle initial listed as F, it should be E.

I'm new at this so I don't know how to correct it but perhaps you can do that.

Would you be willing to transfer Ann Brown (#108865217) to me? Ann is my second great grandmother on my mother's side.
Thank you for your consideration.

RE: Waterville Cemetery burials
I contacted the cemetery and found out that my family members were buried in the Waterville Cemetery. So I have created memorials for them. The memorial #'s are: John A Gurr #126088488, Hannah Welford Gurr #126088417, Marietta Julia Gurr #126089655, Mary Welford #126088171, Hatley M Harwood #126088327, and Clara Amelia Harwood #126088245.

Thank you for taking photos. I appreciate it so much. Could you add them to these memorials I have created?

I so appreciate your help with these memorials.

Thanks for letting me know about the duplicate memorials! Good eye, there. I have removed the one without a photo of the gravestones.

Thank you. The one photo of my grandparents with the girls and the dog includes my mother, Mabel. She is the tallest of the girls.

RE: Fred Fuller, Union Cem.N.C.
Hi Andrew, Aunt Myra was a dear sister of my Dad, Jim. Met Mabel several years ago...went to see her at her home, enjoyed meeting her. She was a dear friend of Aunt Myra's. Have been searching for years to sort out these Fullers, Alison

Eaton Farm Cemetery
Hi Andrew,
You thankfully created a memorial for a Judson Jerritt Mace at Eaton Farm Cemetery in 2009. From the information you recorded, I think there must be a stone there. Would it be possible for you to take a picture of the stone or do you know of anyone that can take the picture and either post it at findagrave or send it to me (and I'll post it). I did request a photo at findagrave, but the other 2 requests were from 2010 and haven't been fulfilled. Anything you can do to help would be greatly appreciated. My member number: #47226446 under Rebecca Ott
Thank you!!!!!!
