Bio and Links
Bio Photo I have been researching some of the 36,000 + Army Air Forces personnel who died in the line of duty, of non-combat causes during the World War II era in service-related accidents. It is said that more
than 15,500 Army airmen were killed in airplane accidents between 1941 and 1946, within the borders of the U.S. and it's territories. They gave their all and died in the service of their country, but received no purple hearts and virtually no mention in the history books and have largely been forgotten by time.

For corrections, additions, or requests for transfer of memorial, please use the Edit tab, and select Suggest a Correction or Provide Additional Information to make any update requests. It is much easier to handle the issue this way, rather than a personal message.

I am happy to update any memorial, including family links. But I DO NOT like adding census information, copies of death certificates and please do not add long obituaries to the "photo" area. The information can be condensed and pasted into the bio area. If you don't have the time to type out the obituary, just email it to me. I will add it and give you credit for finding it.
I appreciate any information that can "round out" someone's bio.

Edwin Riley Johnson
The Edwin Riley Johnson In Forest Lawn West is a small child that was born March 7 1946 and died May 12 1948. He was the son of William P Johnson and Edna Wingate Johnson According to the marker I took a picture of. This marker is in the location you gave for your request online. I don't think this is the one you are looking for.

Hello there. I sent you a few edits. The dates and information you provided in the memorial matched the marker that I photographed so I'm quite certain it's the same person. I will add a photo for you to see the middle name on the marker. I've also sent edits to link him to his parents and I've sent plot information as well.

Cheers my fellow Findagraver! Keep up the great work! :)

Faia
I have another headstone photo of a Salvatore Faia who I assume is related to the one you requested because it was next to it. I didn't see a memorial page for Sal but if you make one, I will post the picture.

Gertrude E. and Eugene Parker Robbins
Tim,

Thank you for your response.

In addition, last night I went through all the grave markers from A to M you had put on Findagrave.com on 27 Sep 2008 from the Highland View Memorial Gardens. When I found that you had put on the Mallory family and Lorene Valk Graham on the same day, I knew exactly where Gertrude and Eugene Parker were located. Their memorial numbers were right in the middle between the Mallory family members and Lorene Valk Graham.

Yours, Eual Jr.
