Bio and Links
Bio Photo My husband and I became interested in genealogy a few years ago. I found many of our relatives on Find a Grave and became interested in adding my own. This hobby just flourished from there and hopefully my memorials will be of some help to others that are researching their family history.

We live in Central PA and while we have relatives all around the world, the largest concentration is in Central and Eastern PA – Schuylkill, Dauphin, Lebanon, Lancaster, Cumberland, York, Adams and Perry counties and Philadelphia. My Dad also has a huge amount of relatives in Virginia. My husband is a Navy Vet and I served in the Army Reserves.

If an obit mentions cremation and does not mention burial, I create a cremation memorial.

Sometimes there are numerous cemeteries of the same name in the same county/locale and the towns are not listed, or the person who added the cemetery listed it in a neighboring town. Also, names of cemeteries are occasionally shortened. (For example: Our Lady of Calvary Cemetery in Pottsville, PA is listed as Calvary, Mount Carbon.)

PLEASE let me know if ashes are buried or if I have listed a wrong cemetery instead of creating a duplicate.

FIND-A-GRAVE GUIDELINES: Direct relatives within four generations (siblings, parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, children, grandchildren, great-grandchild).

I create my memorials and gather information from various sources - gravestones, genealogy websites, Veterans info, obits, etc. – and thus have various amounts of info, sometimes as little as name and year of death.

Keep in mind that many of these records – cemetery records, census, church records, etc - are old and have been transcribed numerous times. These records have numerous transcription and typo errors. I try to locate numerous records to verify the information.

Please send any and all links to other find a grave memorials, additions or corrections. I am happy to receive all of them but they must be sent through the “EDIT” tab on the memorial - not my email. You do NOT have to be a Find a Grave contributor to suggest a change (SAC) - just an email address.

Requests or changes received any other way will be deleted and will not be acknowledged.
