Usually transfer requests are made within Find A Grave guidelines. I am related to most of my entries. I don't transfer relatives.

My grave marker photos may be used for your personal non-profit use, please give me credit. All other photos and biographies belong to me and my family, you need to get my permission to copy.

Most corrections and additions which includes biographies (I will give you credit) made if requested politely. I do need to check them out first. I believe the first 3 children would be offspring of Squire and first Wife Lucinda Miles, as Lucinda passed away in 1838.

Rueban Miles Whitaker, I keep spelling Rueban as you have it.

Susan (Whitaker) Doty

and Lucy Ellen Whitaker (1832)

There are other possible Lucinda offspring. But I am not able to document them well. I keep them in my tree as good possibilities, and prob. got some of their background from memorials you made. (THanks) George 1830, Wilson Lee 1833 (prolific father in Edwards County) James 1836.

Hi ... I am the great-great grandson of Judge Caldwell.

I wanted to make a couple of small corrections to your short bio, mostly names.

He and Tennessee Louise Buchanan had three daughters: Sarah Vincent (Vinnie) Caldwell Murray, Nancy Alice (Nannie) Caldwell Lasseter and Samuella Younge (Sammie) Caldwell Parkes.

Mrs. Lasseter was my great-grandmother, and her husband died just eight years after her, leaving her parents to raise my grandfather and his two siblings.

Thanks. If you need any further information, I am available.

MADDING CEMETERY LEIGHTON, AL
I HAVE A COPY OF A NEWSPAPER CLIPPING OF MY GREAT-GREAT GRANDFATHERS DEATH. HIS NAME WAS WILLIS POSEY. THIS IS WHAT THE CLIPPING STATES:
"WILLIS POSEY DEAD. WILLIS POSEY, A WELL KNOWN MAN ABOUT TOWN, DIED SUNDAY MORNING AFTER ABOUT A WEEK'S ILLNESS, THE IMMEDIATE CAUSE OF DEATH BEING UREMIC POISONING. MR. POSEY LEAVES A LARGE FAMILY OF CHILDREN DEPENDENT UPON THE OLDER BROTHERS AND SISTER FOR SUPPORT. AT THE RECENT CITY ELECTION MR. POSEY WAS A CANDIDATE FOR MARSHAL, BUT WAS DEFEATED, AND HAS SINCE BEEN ENGAGED IN FARMING ON JAMES E. SMITH'S PLACE. THE REMAINS WERE INTERED IN THE MADDING GRAVEYARD."
I ASSUME THIS IS THE SAME GRAVEYARD AS MADDING CEMETERY. FROM WHAT I HAVE BEEN TOLD CONCERNING THIS CEMETERY, IT IS NO LONGER THERE? DO YOU KNOW ANY INFO ABOUT IT? MY GRANDFATHER HAD ALWAYS BEEN TOLD HIS GRANDFATHER WAS BURIED BEHIND ABBIE BAPTIST CHURCH. WHEN I RESEARCHED THE MADDINGS A LITTLE I FOUND THAT THEY OWNED A HUGE PLANTATION. ANY INFO ON THE ACTUAL LOCATION OR ANY OTHER PERTINENT INFO WOULD BE WELCOMED BY ME. THANKS FOR YOUR TIME.
