Retired military. Genealogy is a passion but I slow down when football season arrives. Willing to help others as much as possible. I focus on my Stewart roots (West Virginia and Pennsylvania) and the Marshall family on my mother's side (Virginia).|
I have photo documented local cemeteries in my area of James City County, Charles City County, Williamsburg and York County, VA. I am currently working on cemeteries in Surry, Sussex, Isle of Wight and Southampton Counties, VA.
I have also photo documented several cemeteries in the Hilton Head Island, SC, Kitty Hawk (Dare County), NC and Leavenworth, KS areas while on vacation.
If I have added a memorial for one of your family members just let me know your Find A Grave member number and I will transfer it to you.

The birth of his daughter Lizzie (although it don't give her name just female, but dates match. As far as I know at this moment that is where I got it from. If it is wrong will gladly change it.

This came from a Historical Soc. publication which I no longer have of Monongalia Co. Cemetery Readings. Since there is a question about her parents I deleted the reference to Levi as the father. Let me know if you have definitive proof and I'll make the changes.

my mother, aunt & uncle and I have searched for years to find their uncle's grave! how wonderful u have found it and put it on this website. unfortunately they have all passed away, but I cannot express enough my gratitude for what u are doing. My question is whether you were able or would be able to locate my Great grandfather's(Karl Gunnerius Breiby) grave. Our records indicate he died in March of 1906 in the same area that Calmer did. My email is : firstname.lastname@example.org

Thank you for the picture of my mother.s grave site. I would like to add more information to her memorial. Also, I am trying to find the grave sites of my grandparents, Carr and Sledge. Any information you can direct to us would be appreciated. I am working on our genealogy for ancestors in Virginia, North Carolina and South Carolina as well. We are in Colorado and depend upon the internet for help. Thank you again, Fred

Hi Ron. I added George Albert to F.A.G. since I was able to find his death certificate. Still looking for Florence so I can add her. Thank you for contacting me.
P.S. If you are a relative, I would be more than willing to transfer management.

You are welcome. The cemetery I photographed was the "Smith Cemetery (Rts 755 & 611)" as it is known in Find A Grave. I photographed all markers in that cemetery. The GPS Location listed in Find A Grave is accurate and if you copy the coordinates to Google Earth you can get a good picture of its location in relation to the nearest roads.
There is a Charles Smith Cemetery in Carroll County listed in Find A Grave, but I don't know where it is.
Best Regards, -A
