I have been involved in Genealogy research for the past twenty years and joined the Find-A-Grave community about 10 years ago. I have found the experience a way of honoring those who came before us. I was born in Wheeler, New York and grew up in nearby Naples. For the most part of my adult life, I worked for Ontario County government in various positions, ie. Director of Planning, Commissioner of Social Services and Deputy County Administrator. I am now retired and live in Florida, though try to get back to the Finger Lakes in the summer.|
Feel free to provide me further information on my entries and of course, I would be pleased to transfer the maintenance of an entry.

Thanks for what you are doing, Gary. I have looked long and hard for a family connection between the Franklin Rogers family and several other Rogers buried in Hubbard Cemetery. No luck. Of course, they could be related some way, but it would probably take a DNA test to find out.
Thanks for suggestion. It has been completed. Are you related to these two?

I am doing some further research regarding this Moses Dennis. I have him listed as being born in New Hampshire and marrying Lois Eaton who died when she was 30. The same year as Franklin Dennis who I have listed as his son. I need to do further research to make sure that I have the right one connected. I am sure that if he moved down from New Hampshire to NY, he could have remarried. I do not believe that there were any other names on the headstone but I will check when I go back to NY in July.

So great to see this memorial here! Thanks very much for the little write up and description. It validates everything I have come across so far! It almost felt like I was there... :)

There are quite a few control freaks floating about on Find A Grave.
