Actually the Grothe's I've researched are German. The spelling has changed a bit and sometimes the "e" is dropped.. By any chance do you have family in Nebraska and Indiana?

You mentioned you will specialize in Norwegian genealogy, Are you by any chance related to the Grothe family in Nebraska? I know there is German ancestry there but also believe some Scandinavian countries as well.

Hi Pamela, Thank you for the note. I wanted to add thoughtful information for all the victims from Marin. I'm still hoping to get a photo of the memorial at the flag pole at San Marin High for Jack. Must of been heart-breaking to hear of your class-mates death in the attack. *:( Take care. C.

If the option is there, I will do that.
|mary beth marchant||Find A Grave Memorial# 97393777-William Garfield Scott|
William Garfield Scott-Find A Grave Memorial# 97393777
A Correction:William Garfield Scott is buried next to May P. Scott-his spouse-she is the same was Dorothy M. Scott-His wife's maiden name was Dorothy May Pollard-so May P. Scott means Dorothy May Pollard Scott.

You had added a memorial 125858302 for Marguerite Imrie Norstog, and linked her sister and parents. However those links no longer work and I am unable to find them while searching for the name in Find A Grave. Do you happen to know more about their memorials. Elizabeth, Marguerite's sister, married a Crotinger, and I am related to that line (but distantly). Thanks for your help and volunteer efforts. Gary
Thank you for the transfer.
