Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been drawn to cemeteries for as long as I can remember, having often played among the old tombstones at Oxbow Lakeside Cemetery while growing up in White Lake, Michigan.

If you would like to leave a flower for my Dad, I'd really appreciate it. Please & thank you! :) December 10, 2013 will be his 29th Angel Day. Not a day goes by that I don't think of him, he was a wonderful person and parent.

My family genealogy names include Burks, Kerr, Ellison, Fitzgerald, Glazier, Vidlicka, Corley (Curley, Kurlick), Tomorackas and Tiscavitch.

It's taken me a while but I have added a page for my sweet Jackpot, who is one in a long line of beloved furbabies who have gone to the Rainbow Bridge.

Since moving to Los Angeles in 1988, I've explored celebrity graves as a hobby and along the way have been just as moved by the neighboring "civilian" headstones that surround and outnumber them. I have been a member of The Hollywood Underground since March 1998.

I run the website in order to keep the public informed about the ongoing closure/lawsuit story happening there in Glendale, Calif. The cemetery is expected to re-open in late 2013.

Special thanks goes out to fellow graver Linda Mustion, who has worked tirelessly to record over 6,000 memorials to the Grand View FindAGrave page one by one. I'm also a member of the Grand View Volunteers group which added over 30,000 memorials to Grand View's page in 2010. We continue to fulfill requests and manage/transfer memorials to families seeking information on loved ones there.

Adventures in Grave Hunting is my cemetery-related blog. I haven't updated it in a while but the archives of old stories go back several years. I plan to resume updating it when Grand View gets back on its feet and I complete the book about its history. I have a huge backlog of interesting stories just waiting to be told when I have more free time.

My first contribution to Find A Grave was in August 2000, in honor of my grave hunting buddy Denis Svoboda.

I collect vintage photographs of grave markers and of people posing in cemeteries, wondering about the stories behind the snapshots. I like to match them with Find A Grave memorials that are already online, virtually reuniting loved ones whose pictures somehow ended up for sale here and there. See the evolving results here.

First sorry for the two..empty messages. I emailed you yesterday via your Yahoo account, did you get it? This one is a follow up. I am still meeting with the Valhalla people and had hoped to get this done yesterday. I called again this afternoon and my point person had left for the day.

I may not ever try to fulfill another claim at Valhalla, which is too bad as I am so close but I will finish this one!

I left an 8 page print out of all the requests there for the manager so he can see how much people would like to have that connection still with their loved ones. All of which would need to be searched by the staff since none have locations.

Please give my apologies to Robert's sisters for this new delay.

Lisa, I am the person that claimed this photo assignment. I realize that it has lapsed and i can't re-claim it but I wanted you and Robert's sister to know that I have been to this cemetery 6 times and am still working on it. I have a Monday appt at 8:40am again. The grave is unmarked and I have had to enlist the help of the family service personal and ground crew.
Best Regards,

RE: Eluther Saucier
I'm sorry I have no idea who the boys are. I Know that Eluther died young and unmarried so don't believe they are his boys. Perhaps nephews? Thanks for the photo.
Regards, Charmaine
