Bio Photo This monument in Northeast cemetery PA says "God Is Love." It is one of my favorites.

I am happy to do this work to help the living, the dead and those to come. Sometimes, though, the pain of the losses people have felt just staggers me.

I am very, very grateful to other volunteers who have put up info that has helped me in my ancestry searchs.

If possible, I would grateful if you could leave a flower at my cousin Lt. Edwin Neely who was killed at Normandy as part of the D - Day invasion so that he is remembered.

Find A Grave Memorial# 56648174

It would be a lot to me. It took me awhile to find him.

(I found out some of the pictures I post turn out upside down on some people's computers but not others. I don't understand it at all so I don't know how to fix it but I think it might be something with the IPhone I don't understand.

Write me if something is wrong!)

Removing a cemetery photo
I looked into removing the photo. Try:

[from FAQ] How do I correct a wrong cemetery photo?
You will need to send an email to with a link (URL) to the cemetery, the name of the cemetery, and a description of the photo in question.

Thanks for your work on Find A Grave.

St. Mary's Cemetery photo
The photo you have posted (in 2013) to St. Mary's Cemetery, Pittsburgh is not of THAT St. Mary's Cemetery. I have been to the cemetery. There is no mausoleum that big, and there is no street that flat in the cemetery. I'm not sure which St. Mary's in Pgh that is, though.

I appreciate you sharing the photo, but maybe you could remove it and hopefully find the right cemetery to re-post it.

McNamara's Photo Request
I just wanted to let you know that I posted photos of your parents burial site on each of their own memorial pages. You may want to add Notre Dame Mausoleum to the plot information since there are three mausoleums at that cemetery. You may also want to change the order of the photos to push the grave photos to the end. Personal photos should go first. Thanks!

You are very welcome. FYI the reverse side of the Haenel Monument is Brocklebank. I photographed that as well, as they are obviously related. Hope that helps.

RE: thank you
I appreciate the feedback, I'm glad I'm helping others in their research. I wish every memorial I enter helps someone to connect with their family.
