Bio and Links
Bio Photo I've been working on my family history off and on for about 30 years. Now that I am retired I spend much more time researching. Most of the time it is slow going since there seem to be many "mysteries" in my family, especially on my maternal side! I love visiting cemeteries to take pictures of gravesites for others, especially when I hit a roadblock in my own research. It gives me a lot of satisfaction knowing that I am helping others in their searches, and find most cemeteries are serene and beautiful. I also try to take "extra" photos when I'm out and add Memorials in case someone might be searching for them. When I add a Memorial I do a brief search of local obituaries and census records to add what information is available. If anyone would like me to correct, delete or transfer ownership of a Memorial I've added, please let me know. All is done with great respect.

June 1, 2012....I think it is time to update my profile...I have not been able to go out and help take photos the last couple of years. We moved from Indiana to Michigan then to Hawaii. While in Hawaii, my husband became disabled and I have become his caretaker. We have just recently moved back to Florida to be near family and friends. We are settling in and putting things back in order. I am hoping to be able to go out and take more photos soon. I am now trying to go through a backlog of requests for information and transfers. Please forgive me for taking so long to attend to these. I apologize. I know how important family information is to all of us. If you feel I may have overlooked your request, please contact me again and I will try to help. Thanks for your patience. Jan

Can you please change the birth year to 1891 instead of 1892. I have the birth cert and it is 1891. This is my grandfather. Thank you

Howard Miller
Thanks for all the pictures of stones and all the information you have posted. But on Howard Millers you have his mother as Rosalyn DeHoff that was a daughter. His mother was Wilma Clinger
Thanks for everything I know it is hard to keep all straight but I thought you might want to know this.

RE: Rogers/Minnick/Pierson/Vogt
Thanks for the response. I've known about Find a Grave and searched the sit many times over the years but just never set anything up until yesterday. Sure, I'd be happy to take them over. Just let me know what I need to do to do so.

Thanks!

Clarification of my post a few minutes ago . . . Charles & Mary Cox are on the south side of the mausoleum, INSIDE the building, not outside.

Rogers/Minnick/Pierson/Vogt
Henry Rogers is one of my Great, Great Grandfathers. I'm descended from his 2nd wife, Martha Caroline Rogers. Henry was actually married briefly to Amanda Carl who died in childbirth as did their son Albert. I'm not sure where they're buried but they were living in Marion Twp, Livingston Co at the time. Henry & Martha's first two children may have died very young because nobody's been able to find anything more about them than their birth and I think a census record. Adelia & Rama Minnick were sisters. Adelia did marry again after Henry passed but was buried by him.

Henry's death certificate states he passed on 09 Dec 1916, not 19 Dec 1916.

Henry & Martha's son, Willard Rogers, is buried on the other side of the cemetary, SE of the mausoleum. The family takes up most of the row as there is Emma & Willard Rogers, Florence & Otto Pierson, George & Hannah Pierson, Alfred & Sarah Vogt, Ed & Laura Nordman. Florence & Otto are my Grandparents and their parents are on either side of them. Alfred & Sarah are Otto's brother & sister in law. Laura is Alfred & Sarah's daughter. Emma's parents, Charles & Mary Worden are on the south side wall of the mausoleum.

Just wanted to not the corrections for you. Thanks for the pic. I'd taken headstone pictures at Greenwood before I left Michigan but after going through 2 rolls of film, I found more of my family than I'd realized were there!
