I've been working on my family history off and on for about 30 years. Now that I am retired I spend much more time researching. Most of the time it is slow going since there seem to be many "mysteries" in my family, especially on my maternal side! I love visiting cemeteries to take pictures of gravesites for others, especially when I hit a roadblock in my own research. It gives me a lot of satisfaction knowing that I am helping others in their searches, and find most cemeteries are serene and beautiful. I also try to take "extra" photos when I'm out and add Memorials in case someone might be searching for them. When I add a Memorial I do a brief search of local obituaries and census records to add what information is available. If anyone would like me to correct, delete or transfer ownership of a Memorial I've added, please let me know. All is done with great respect.|
June 1, 2012....I think it is time to update my profile...I have not been able to go out and help take photos the last couple of years. We moved from Indiana to Michigan then to Hawaii. While in Hawaii, my husband became disabled and I have become his caretaker. We have just recently moved back to Florida to be near family and friends. We are settling in and putting things back in order. I am hoping to be able to go out and take more photos soon. I am now trying to go through a backlog of requests for information and transfers. Please forgive me for taking so long to attend to these. I apologize. I know how important family information is to all of us. If you feel I may have overlooked your request, please contact me again and I will try to help. Thanks for your patience.
June 8, 2015....We are now living in Highlands Ranch, CO and still researching when able. Always happy to help when I can :)

Hi Janet, They are not a direct line, so you can keep them.
|KLJ.||RE: Minnie Palmer|
Hi, Janet. Minnie Palmer was a step great-grandmother, not a biological one. If you would like to tramsfer her, that would be nice but since it does not fall within the guidelines, if you do not want to, that would be okay too. :)

Thank you so much. I would be one of his cousins. Sure, if you wouldn't mind that would be very nice.

Hello. I wanted to say thank you for the photo of the grave stone of Albert Prindle located in Oakwood Cemetery which you posted on Findagrave.com.
As for your photo ... may I have permission to post it (and any other of your photos of my ancestors' and/or their graves that you may have posted or will post in the future) on my Ancestry.com file. I post a message under the photo giving credit to the person who took the photo. I have no interest in publishing any books or using the photos in any way other than for genealogical purposes. I have several things I post under the photos depending on the "owner" of the photo's desires. I have two below ... if you will allow me to post your grave photos on my Ancestry file then I'll place the statement of your choice. The second one has a _____ in it and that's where I would place your e-mail address so people can contact you directly for permission.
NOTE: This photo was obtained from a Findagrave.com photo volunteer and the volunteer has kindly given me permission to post this on my Ancestry.com file. You should take the steps to contact the owner of the photo for permission to use this photo for your personal use ... permission is NOT granted by me for any use as it is not mine to give.

Again, thank you so much for your kindness ... Find A Grave volunteers are wonderful people :-)

Can you please change the birth year to 1891 instead of 1892. I have the birth cert and it is 1891. This is my grandfather. Thank you
Sandy Smedo Ferris
|Hermione Stanley||Howard Miller|
Thanks for all the pictures of stones and all the information you have posted. But on Howard Millers you have his mother as Rosalyn DeHoff that was a daughter. His mother was Wilma Clinger
Thanks for everything I know it is hard to keep all straight but I thought you might want to know this.
this is in the Avilla Cemetery
