Ok so I was at Dunreath today and I saw the horribly overgrown Martin stone and dug around in there and there was no other stone so he must be an unmarked. I feel bad how there's a tree growing over the one stone and a rose bush that makes it impossible to push the tree back. If you find out anything else I'd be happy to go look.

Hello. For George to show up on his parents' memorials, links must be added to George's memorial by Susie Simon.

I have emailed her a request for the links.

Happy St. Patrick's Day

Whitsel Cemetery

Jim are you familiar with Jackson Co?

I can't give you North South East etc. because I am not sure, so just go with me on this. lol

It is 4 miles from Berlin Cross Roads (towards Wilkesville) The same way you go to Salem Cemetery and Buckeye Furnace.

Take 124 to Mulga Road. Turn left and go up the hill towards Mt. Carmel Cemetery . It is high up on a hill right there on your left before yo9u go up the hill.
Go on a bit and you will come to a remodeled farm house on the left.

The cemetery is on "private" ground on that farm. The owner has a small road going part way up in the woods as he has a garage up there he where he works on cars or something.

I haven't been there in several years and do not know for sure that there is still anyway to get up there. The path washes out in every rain. Once up there before you get to the path end , there is a path leading thru the woods on the left. It is pretty hard to notice , but it goes directly into the cemetery. And there is a wire fence around parts of it. I don't like to bother the family that owns the ground, but if he is home he will help you out. I usually give him some $$ as he used to go up there and weed eat the cemetery. I don't know if he does any longer tho. The first time I was up there the weeds were chest high! You still have to be careful of snakes up there even if cleared.
LMK if this was of any help to you. Are we related ? I have pictures of all the stone on Find A Grave.

Sorry but find a grave is not set up to connect parents to children. You have to contact the contributors who added the children & have them connect the parents.
