Bio and Links
Bio Photo Born and raised in Van Zandt County Texas. Related to just about everybody in Canton and surrounding communities (by blood or marriage). My goal is to document the lives of all of my family and friends so that when we're all gone from this earth, somebody in the future will know we lived, loved, and existed.

The graves I've entered are mostly my family. We've travelled the "south" in search of family, graves, any clues of my ancestors' existence. I love my ancestors and feel a bond with them. If you have any questions about any of the graves or photos I've entered, please don't hesitate to write.

In an effort to make the information I've collected, available to you and others, slowly-but-surely, I'm entering the graves & photos into findagrave. I have tons of information on my computer but it is of no help to others unless it is available. So I'm trying to make it available. Life sometimes gets in the way of my genealogy :)

Thomas Bannister Morris
Hi I was looking at the memorial you have for Thomas Bannister Morris (#31844930) - he is my fourth great grandfather. I haven't been able to get any farther on that line - I was wondering if you had had any luck? Would appreciate any info you had on the Morris line...thanks!

Ward connection
I am new to Find a Grave. I just found your post of Joseph Ward at Lawrenceville Cemetary in Henry county Al. He was the father of Christopher Ward. Christopher was the father of John A Ward. John left Abbeville Al with his wife and two sons in 1910 and came to Arlington Ga. One of his sons was Richard Christopher Ward. I am Richard Christopher Ward III and live in Arlington Ga. My wife Alida and I love history and appreciate the work that you have done. If you travel back this way come and visit us in Arlington. We are on Facebook as well. Thanks

Simmons Van Zandt Co
Hi Melanie- I was wondering in all your research if you have run across any Simmons in your line? My grandmother's Simmons line is from the Van Zandt County area and I am working on that part of my family tree. Please advise.

Pearl Threatt
I looked through the Knowles (Teague Cemetery) and was not able to Find Pearl's grave. It is a small cemetery and yet I could not find her. As far as I know there is only the one Cemetery in the Knowles area. If I was looking at the wrong cemetery please let me know and I will try again.
Many of the grave markers are missing, so she may be there but no longer marked
