RE: Hines
No there is an Edna stone and some Lewis and Shearer stones near by. There is an unmarked destroyed memorial nearby. Do you want me to transfer Hines to you. JF Simpson

Hi, Pete!

I emailed you the mp3 recordings of Jim Runco. Did you receive them, and were you able to listen to them?

Would enjoy the photos you mentioned, if you wish to send them to me.

Thank you.

RE: Runco's
Hello again, Pete!

Thank you for the information about the Starling Family. I will add the new information to my tree in

You have so many special memories (pot of beans, rooster, and more!) that I hope that you write your Memories down or record them on audio and video.

I hope that by the time you read this, you have accessed the Picasa Web Album from the link I sent you. Also, I would love for you to listen to the Runco interview ...

Glad you have the Runco interview from If you want the ORAL voice recording of his interview, I can email you the tracks ... about 20 of them, 1 to each email.

I will also email you my "Old Neighborhood, Part 1" Picasa Web Album. You state that you have the interview from Also available on James Runco's page in my tree is Jim's photo collection. Regarding the Picasa Web Album, it begins with 50 images, all photos from Jim Runco's collection. Here is the link to the Picasa Web Album:

RE: Runco's
Hello again, Pete

I think I may have wrongly assumed that you are a Runco descendant. Sorry. I am glad you shared a memory of Theresa Runco Starling with me. I never met her, but knew about her from Jim's interview. I think you mentioned a "pot of beans" at Theresa's house. That sounds good right now.

I am not a descendant of the Runco Family. Since my tree is almost 40,000 people, I find connections and relationships that are through marriages of many of my family members.

Thanks for sharing, Pete, and please add the dates you mentioned and anything else you wish to add.

RE: Runco's
Hello, Pete!

Nice to get your message. I grew up on the same 700 block of Elm Street, where Jim and Lizzie Runco and their three daughters lived. Wonderful memories!

In 1996, I interviewed Jim as part of my Echoes of Elm Street Italian heritage collection. During the course of the interview, he shared some of his photo collection with me. I have used them as part of a Picasa Web Album. I can email the collection to you. My email address is

The Runco Family are in my program, and I can email you a Relationship Chart showing how I am related.

Yes, please add the dates and anything else you would like to add.

I can also email you the voice recording of Jim's interview as mp3 files (several emails, one track to each email), and I will also email you the PDF of his interview ("PDF" here is really JPEG images of each written page of his interview).

You are a descendant of a wonderful family. Please tell me how you fit in, and I will add you to the family tree.
