Any photos that I take are for public use so feel free to copy them for your family tree. I tend to take extra photos and like to add the memorials for non-related people to provide information for others to use. In an effort to be as accurate as possible, I will be glad to make any corrections or links for the memorials that I have added. If you would like a memorial transferred to you, I will gladly do so.|

Thank you for the reply. If I find any more information re graves, I'll let you know.

I have reason to believe George Mabry is the son of Joel Mabry and Jane Williams. He fits the age bracket for the 1850-1870 Federal Censuses. Also, in the 1870 census, a Cynthia is named as living in the household. Do you have any knowledge of this? I'm looking for all the information I can find on Joel.

Thanks for the correction. Myrtie Bell Gibbs Hamil was a very close friend of my wife and I just did the memorial for her for that reason. At the wake, when I was asking questions relating to Myrtie Bell's ancestry, I got a very strong reaction when I suggested her father's name was really Ransom. All responses said his name was R B. Well, I could relate to that because my mother-in-law's name was
S L and I was aware of the problems that initials for a name could cause.
I have no connection to the family and do not desire to manage the memorial of R B Gibbs. If I should find a family member to take on the management of Myrtie Bell's memorial, I will also refer them to you.

In the process of establishing a FindAGrave memorial for a friend, I discovered an error in the FindAGrave Memorial for R B Gibbs # 107161750 in Pine Bluff Cemetery in Newton Co. MS.
You established his FindAGrave memorial in the name of Ransom B. Gibbs. That was the name of R B's grandfather. R B was listed in the 1920 Census of Newton Co. as a son of Henry Gibbs; and as head of household in the 1940 Census of Newton Co. The Social Security Death Index has him listed as R B Gibbs and his grave stone is inscribed as R B Gibbs. At the wake of his daughter, Myrtie Hamil, last night, his surviving daughter told me his name was R B and had given him trouble many times. A bank had once refused to cash a check for him until he revealed what name the initials R B represented and she said his name was R B.
She had no memory of the name Ransom.
