Thanks so much for all of the great photos you took at the Simmons Cemetery! I was there in 2001 but I only wrote the info down, I didn't take photos (I now of course know better). You are the best :)

Hi Mr. Tatum,
I am trying to locate some Pierces that I was told were buried in Woodland Cemetery in Havanna. They are:
Ernest Augustus (Gus) Pierce: 1/17/1894 (Perry, GA) - 1968
his wife: Polly Atkinson Pierce (b 1904, died?)
his son: Jack Lester Pierce (1940-1987)
another son: Chester James (Jim) Pierce (1925-1958)
If there is someone else I should contact regarding this cemetery, please let me know. I have been searching for these relatives (Ernest was my grandfather's brother) for a long time and am having no luck. Gus moved to the Havanna area from Georgia during the Depression and worked on someone else's farm (I don't think he owned any land). His two daughters moved away but I believe his sons are buried in this area also.
Thanks so much!
