Bio Photo The vast majority of pages I've added to Find-a-Grave are for strangers. I'm always happy to transfer pages to people who know something about these strangers. If you would like for me to transfer a page to you, please let me know (preferably by clicking on "edit" and then "suggest correction" since that will provide both a link to the page and a link to your contributor page with the necessary ID# for the transfer).

I live in Jackson (Hinds County), Mississippi, and love "graving," whether here in central Mississippi or in other places when I'm traveling. If you find errors in my listings, please send me corrections.

A note about photo requests: If you make a request for Lakewood Memorial Park or Lakewood South, please include the section and plot number.

RE: Trail's End/At the End of the Trail
I got a nice response from the other volunteer. She said she had gotten it from the obit so I think the confusion for her was the similarity in names. She has taken off her memorials for the Rhodes couple.

Thanks for all the help!

Trail End
I sent an email to the other volunteer and suggested she contact you so you two can share info. Since I didn't take the photos or see the stones, the two of you would know better where you were :) Thanks again, and sorry for the confusion so early in the morning!

Trail's End/At the End of the Trail
I just looked on the map like you said - there ARE 2 :) Oh my goodness, how confusing to have 2 that have nearly the same name just down the road from each other! Still wonder why they don't have the other listed as a cemetery when you look it up - maybe I'm looking in the wrong places. I also see that Wallace is just across the street. For what appears to be such a small area to have 3 cemeteries seems like a lot, but then again, it could be that one or two are not used any more.

Thanks again for the great information! I will email the other volunteer and let her know.

Have a great day and thanks for the education in West VA!

Trail's End/At the End of the Trail
Good morning! Thanks for the updates! Being in AZ its so hard to get good on the spot information. I can see where the two cemeteries could get confusing, which may be where the real issue lies. I saw the photos of the entrance on both and thought the same thing, can't be same place what confused me was that I couldn't find any info on the Trail's End one. I also emailed the woman who had the original Rhodes memorials, as both cemeteries show up on Findagrave and both have several memorials listed. Is it possible one is an older one that isn't used much any more and the other is newer?

Thanks for the explanation of locations, sometimes I just want to get in the car and go for a road trip, I love these little towns!

Thanks again, I would leave the information up and I'll see what I hear from the other lady. Your pics of the stones are really great!

I thought maybe you could just add it as an informative "note" on the memorial

Lewis F. Rhodes and Joyce E Rhodes
After doing some checking it appears that Trail's End and At the End of the Trail Cemetery are one and the same. I found no listing for Trails End Cemetery anywhere, only At the End of the Trail, which is what the photo shows for the other Lewis Rhodes memorial. The earlier listing does not show the stones as you have, but they are the same people as both Lewis and Joyce are both there. Not sure if perhaps they altered the name of the cemetery or if it was just known in general by Trail's End but the sign in the photos shows At the End of the Trail. Any other clues to a possible name change?

Memorial 97188620
Thanks Natalie for the cemetery picture for my sister-in law-Mary Alice Satterwhite Dent. My niece asked me to transfer this memorial to her (daughter of Mary) and I agreed. There is a mistake somehow and it has been transferred to someone I don't know.---Brian somebody. I am crushed that when I put in my niece's name to transfer to her it has now gone to this Brian person. Is there any way to make a correction?

RE: Thomas Lard # 17696882
Thanks for the transfer...he was my grandfather's grandfather. I have changed the name back to Lard and attempted to explain the confusion in the Bio. I have heard several accounts of why the change was made but have no idea which is correct.
