 | George E.R. Laighton Hi David, Thanks for the photo of George Edwin Richards Laighton! I have spent many years looking for the "E.R." George listed his full name on his 2nd marriage registration to Ann Eliza Phillips Baker in the town of Raynham, MA. That marriage took place 9 Apr 1868. I am assuming that George was buried in Stoughton where his first wife died in 1865. She may be buried at Evergreen without a marker. His daughter Henrietta Augusta Laighton married George Capen and they moved to Oregon about 1876. The name Edwin continues to be used in my family. I think the name "Richard" should really be "Richards" although the clerk did not add the "S" to the name. George's mother was Sarah (Sally) Ward Richards. George E.R. was named for his maternal grandfather, Rev. George Richards, a Universalist minister in Portsmouth, NH and Philadelphia, PA. | | | Jen Snoots
 | Photo deletion Hi David, Could you delete your grave photo here?
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GRid=89851640
You have it on the correct memorial here
http://www.findagrave.com/cgi-bin/fg.cgi?page=gr&GSln=Caddell&GSiman=1&GScid=91216&GRid=100607553&
In both cases, you placed a photo on memorials for the correct gentleman, but it's a long story about the other contributor, burial unknowns, refusal to delete BU memorials under any circumstances etc etc... Thanks! ~Jen~ | | | John Glassford

 | RE: Grave of Rose Mary Harrington Thank you so much for the info. I have looked for a stone and did not find but I have not spoken with anyone in years. I will try again to talk with someone. Thanks again. P. Klepper | | | patricia klepper
 | Grave of Rose Mary Harrington My name is Patricia Klepper and I came across your information on Ancestry.Com. I have been searching for quite sometime for the grave of my Dad's sister who passed away in Stoughton on 9/20/1916 when she was only 2 yrs old. The records that I have indicate that she is buried in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton but the cemetery say they have no record. Her death record indicates that she is. Can you give me some info on where else to try to find out where she is buried? Thank you. | | | D. M.
 | Jonathan W. Madan Thank you so much for your time consuming search for my ancestor Jonathan W. Madan. Old Massachusetts records say he was buried in Maplewood. I'm sure he is there just without a headstone. It is a shame that so many old records are lost in time. This is not the first time you have helped me find relatives. I am forever great full to you. Thank you David so much ! I pray that you will be blessed for your efforts in helping so many people.
