|Daoine||Henry Leo Friel|
I have just stumbled across the wee bio you did on my Grandfather Henry Leo Friel who died on 12th march 1941. He was in fact a Derryman, he was born and raised in the Glen area of Derry, however he was stationed in Newry at the time of his death.
Thank you for your work on my Grandfather's bio.x

|Fergus Sweeney||RE: James Robinson|
Thank you for your reply, will follow up on your suggestion.
All the best,
|Fergus Sweeney||James Robinson|
I am starting a family search about James Robinson who joined the Royal Inniskilling Fusiliers and sadly died at home on 23/06/1915 before being posted to WW1.
He was a brother of my grandmother on my father's side.
I would like to find out much more about him and would very much appreciate any tips you have to get me started.

Bob, thank you so very much for the transfer and the addition of the will which would help with Jane's origin. Once again, thank you !! Our name change occurred as my great grandparents obtained their naturalization to be U.S. citizens. Appears that the Rea was evidently changed to Ray by the court system...

|Richard Cochran||Memorial# 24210183 (Florence Downs Gordon)|
Thank you very much for putting up this entry. Florence was a third cousin of my grandfather, Louis Willard Cochran (1900-1958). Her father William Downs was a son of John Downs and Catherine Ann Lagan who were married in Limavady 2nd Presbyterian Church on Sept. 16, 1856. John was baptized in the Limavady 1st Presbyterian Church on Feb. 20, 1837 and was the son of John Downs, a weaver from the townland of Terrydremont, Balteagh Parish -- and Nancy Cochrane (1791-1878), eldest sister of my great great great grandfather.
I'm including the Downs cousins in a book tracing over 2,000 descendants of the old Cochranes of Tamlaght Finlagan parish. Are you perchance related to the Downs family?
Would love to confer with you on this family! Please contact me directly:

Do you know if earlier burials are also in this cemetery, which you have dated 1881? Or where I should look?
My gg grandfather and other relatives were pew holders at Newtowncunningham Presbyterian Church in 1867. I am looking for:
David King c1825 - c1875
Mary Jane Patterson King c1825 - c1859 (1st wife)
Jane Patterson King Patterson 1851 - 1884 (their daughter)
Joseph King b1849 (their son)
Margaret Reid King b1836 (2nd wife)
Eliza Margery King b1866 (their daughter)
The remaining four children are buried in Canada.
Any help greatly appreciated - and Happy New Year!
